Yes folks, I'm making maps for you all. ;D I make them as detailed and thorough as possible, with a legend that also shows you the conditions of the surrounding terrain. I've made them so that you can have some help in making your tactics count, and to help the mod-marker with realism...not saying that they're not realistic enough, of course. This is just to give them a hand so they don't have to do so much guesswork, if there is any.
To order a map, fill out this form (simply for the sake of my sanity):
Name: Terrain Type (Snowy, Mountainous, Desert, etc.): Geographic Features: Any specifics? (Steep slope on east side, cactus patches in every ditch, etc.):
Tips are NOT REQUIRED, but welcome nonetheless. ;D

I take pride in my work, Kiwi.

Name: Name of map or...name of...me? Terrain Type (Snowy, Mountainous, Desert, etc.): Rural Polish village. Lotsa snow. Geographic Features: Houses, cottages etc. Recently the victim of artillery so rubble and devestated buildings galore. Any specifics? (Steep slope on east side, cactus patches in every ditch, etc.): I'd quite like a trench somewhere or other. Not sure why. I like trenches.

Name: N/A (Haven't decided yet)
Terrain Type: Medium French Village
Geographic Features: Houses, cobble-stone roads, etc. Not too much damage, but maybe some ruined buildings and rubble of vehicles in the streets for cover.
Any specifics? Nope. Other than the fact that I'd like it to be a decently sized map with some houses and maybe trees. You can go wild with it if you want .
Me and Nate (Team Schluther) are going to be looking for a 2v2 soon, once he gets out of his current battle and we finish our neutral, so I thought I would get a map in advance. And since I'm not too good at them, I'm here. ;D

Name: Reenforcing the Paratroops Terrain Type: The island of Crete. Geographic Features: Some hills, and you can add whatever you want. Any specifics? I would like the ruins of an old Minoan palace somewhere on the map, please.
I will leave a tip with the CP I get at the end of the battle.

I apologize for not attending to this sooner - my muse is being a bit of a pain again. >.< Nonetheless, gentlemen, I shall get to your maps and post them here as soon as I can.
Well, once you get those done, you can do this one.
Name: Omaha Steaks Terrain Type (Snowy, Mountainous, Desert, etc.): French fields Geographic Features: Tracts of land, divided by hedgerows Any specifics? (Steep slope on east side, cactus patches in every ditch, etc.): Lots 'o cows

OPEN FOR BUSINESS AGAIN!
Yes, I'm reopening map-making requests, but limiting slots as to avoid taxing my muse. For now, three requests at a time will be taken. I have one at the moment, so I shall take two more.

I would like to request one please.
Name: None yet Terrain Type (Snowy, Mountainous, Desert, etc.): A remote French farming villiage, just beyond the Normandy landing beaches Geographic Features: A few packed dirt roads, a few shops and a grocery, tiny church, cottages, ect. Any specifics? (Steep slope on east side, cactus patches in every ditch, etc.): Some barricades in the street
Cactus's?!?!?!
Those are the examples Addie listed for people to get ideas. As you can see, Joachim only asked for barricades in the street.

Can I get in on this action? I'll take up some of the slack that Addie can't get to. You can see an example of my work in my Mod-Test and Bridge on the River Merderet
The brown lines are packed dirt roads, as you requested. The green background is grass. The darker green areas are gardens, and the black-spotted teal areas are trees, which should be in full leaf since it's summer. White lines are fences a metre to two metres high. Gray rectangles are buildings, with the light blue areas in them windows, and the dark purple areas are doorways; both are pretty much intact and of average strength. Buildings marked with an I (it's really a 1) are stores, 2 is the church, and 3 is a café.
Edit: And, I forgot to add, the pale brown lines are barricades, about three metres high, made of wood and barbed wire. Dark grey/black circles are tables, rectangles of the same colour are benches.
I hope this suits whatever battle you may have. It's pretty big, so I can resize if needed.
