Name: Operation Greeny Terrain Type (Snowy, Mountainous, Desert, etc.): Foilage Countryside Geographic Features: Hedgerows, 2 or 3 buildings spaced apart, lots of vegetation Any specifics? (Steep slope on east side, cactus patches in every ditch, etc.): hills
Alrighty... I know this isn't up to my usual standard but I thought it would make an interesting battle. It isn't for anyone in particular so anyone can feel free to use it. It's a two part-er. ;0
I think most everything's pretty self-explanatory.
- The thicker brown line in the top-right is a trench. - Thinner yellow lines on the left are sandbag-bunker type deals. - The darker lines on the bridge are concrete dividers about waist height. - Under the bridge, the dark areas are inaccessible, being solid concrete/steel/whatever you build bridges with. - Tanks are, obviously, inoperable. Just there for decoration and cover...

Name: Dunno yet Terrain Type (Snowy, Mountainous, Desert, etc.): French Urban Geographic Features: Lots of buildings of varying heights/designs to represent how a city grows over time, good quality style roads, basically a top of the range city, possibly Paris, r Carentan Any specifics? (Steep slope on east side, cactus patches in every ditch, etc.): The city has been heavily bombed/bombarded so lots of the buildings have collapsed, several streets have been covered in rubble, shell-holes, abandoned vehicles, etc, but several cleared causeways.
Please and thank you
Cacti? I wasn't aware that France is desert. I always thought it it had a more moist climate. I guess you learn something new everyday.

I apologize - I lost track of this thread. Nathan, I'll get to your map when I can; Ben, if you're still around, I will do the same. I lost my muse for a while.
To hold our eager fighters over for a bit, though, I quickly drew this map up.
Two Sides and the Styx Below[/u]
This map, I feel, is a bit more of a challenge in regard to manoeuvres.
* Running through the middle is a river, rocky rapids at two ends (the uppermost is especially violent, as shown by the large amount of pale water-markings), with ice around the sides and a ridiculously nasty current.
*The cliffs are steep and slippery, the fall a good sixteen feet. The only way across is the large tree trunk in the middle, which is icy; it rests precariously on the edges of the two cliffs it connects. It can hold up to five people, but they will have to be single-file, as its only wide enough for one. Yes, that is a tree stump at one end - make use of it as you will.
*The green is forest, mostly coniferous. The snow is deepest in the forest, halfway up the leg, and thins out to being ankle-deep at the cliff edge.

Addie, as far as I know, Wolfram hasn't used this map (I've checked the history of his characters and there's no recent battles) and it seems a waste he isn't around to use the map.
Do you think I could pinch it? ;D I reckon it would make a good map for Rupert's first battle or something. ~Danny
