Well, I've oft said that my accent is just weird. However, it is more normal than I make it out to be. It's a mixture of Midwestern American accent and the Ontario/Toronto accent. I also have a more-than-average share of received pronunciation that has caused accusations of being English when I am so obviously not. I suppose I have a dash of Boston accent as well, sometimes using harder vowels - check JFK's accent and you'll know what I mean. Mine is much softer, but the Bostonians have an American 'a' and an British 'r.'

As for the the characters:
Theo - sounds English when he speaks English. Most people find it hard to tell he is a foreigner. The Dutch are really good about that.

Kriegheld - a very strong German accent
Leberecht Strumfelder- A less strong, but still German accent
Fritjof Kjeldsen - lighter and friendlier Scandinavian accent
Y. Zolnyernovich - heavy Russian accent with rolled 'r' and 'ye' instead of 'e.'
