1. What are your views on abortion? I think it should be the mother's choice, it's fine with me.

2. What are your views on the Northern Ireland situation? I must admit I'm pretty unknowledgeable when it comes to this, so can't comment. Ireland is a cool place.

3. What are your views on homosexual marriage? Let them marry, it doesn't hurt anyone. The debate concerning the religious side of marriage? Couldn't care less, I'm not religious.

4. What are your views on armed police forces? The police should be allowed to carry firearms. I can only say this based on the situation here in Finland, but police very rarely have to use their firearms here. And in a situation where there is a criminal with a gun and a cop with no gun, I just don't want to imagine what could happen there. It's not just for the protection of the police officer, but civilians as well.

5. What are your views on the legality of firearms? It's a tricky question. There have been a few school shootings here in the past few years and hence a lot of discussion about firearms. In Finland you can own a gun if you are member of a shooting club or use it for hunting, but you can't own a gun just for protecting yourself. There are strict rules on how to store your firearm, also. I think the law is good here in Finland right now.

The fact still stands that there are crazies out there and most manslaughters in Finland are done with edged weapons instead of firearms. If a nutjob wants to kill someone, he will find his way to do it. I think the laws here are just fine as they are. Wouldn't give a gun to everyone who wants one, though. Have read enough news of kids shooting their siblings by accident and other mishaps involving firearms recently.

6. What are your views on the possible decriminilization of cannabis? Just legalize it. I mean cigarettes are legal and they are certainly no good for you.

7. What are your views on the Iraq War? I agree with Saddam having to go, just not sure if it was done in the correct way. It has dragged out for too long now, though.

8. What are your views on Scottish/Welsh independence? I have not been following the situation, let them be independent if they want to?

9. What are your views on nuclear weapons? It would be nice to get rid of them, but we don't live in an ideal world. Saying that someone needs them is just absurd. If someone has them, another one needs them also, then someone else needs them also and.. well, that just goes on and on. But nuclear weapons are so clumsy, it's the biological warfare that is much more scarier.

1. What are your views on abortion? Murder. If someone screws up and gets pregnant, they need to know that the problems cannot be eliminated by a few shots. If people were more responsible, the need for abortion would decrease.

3. What are your views on homosexual marriage? Wrong and against God. Though I do not hate the Gays, as believed by Nicholas Ealing. I have several gay friends and have no problem with them, rather than "Gay" itself. In protest to Schlegal, we would not be forcing anyone to marry the opposite sex. Remaining celibate is an option.

4. What are your views on armed police forces? What about them? Saves the lives of Officers, though for example, the Bobby's of London are an excellent use of unarmed officers.

5. What are your views on the legality of firearms? Guaranteed under my constitution. I am not to be told how to operate my gun if it is inside the law, (that means I don't rob banks) I am not to be told where to keep it, or what kinds of firearms I may buy. Concealed firearm licenses are a good step. Firearm bans are not.

6. What are your views on the possible decriminilization of cannabis? Making it legal means it could be controlled and kept off the streets, much like alcohol. Better still, if it is grown in the US it keeps money out of the hands of pot-growing terrorists such as the taliban, whom my uncle is combating as I type.

7. What are your views on the Iraq War? No matter what we do, Iraq will moan and complain that we shouldn't be there. If we leave, they will moan that we were every there, and things will go back to the way they were. The Afghanistan situation is more troubling than Iraq. Thankfully the British have pulled out of Iraq before becoming where the US is today.

8. What are your views on Scottish/Welsh independence? FREEEEEEEDOOOOOOMM!

9. What are your views on nuclear weapons? Send them into the sun, they are not needed. They will guarantee worldwide annihilation sooner or later. Though I believe in answer to Mr. Ealing above, that those with nukes are required by humanity and God to look after those with none, (though not meaning that we give them a stash of their own, by any means... it would only make the problem bigger)

Am I the only one who sees the contradiction here? No, I would not tell my neighbour how to run their house. That means that I won't tell them whether they can abort their foetus or not and I won't tell two men or women that they can't get married. It is, indeed, their business. And what may be wrong in your view of God should not be applied to all people regardless of their belief in your God. If you want a theocracy, go to Iran. But, I would wait and see. That might not last much longer.

p.s. reaming celibate is an option for anyone. Why should gays have to remain celibate to make you feel better?

In one point you say "Would you tell your neighbor how to run their house?"

And in the next you say you shouldn't allow people to have abortions or for gays to marry. You are therefore "running your neighbors house".

And from my point, (not saying it's the truth, but it is what I believe) I was talking about Ireland from a political point of view, and gay marriage from a religious one.

Within political boundaries, every gay should be guaranteed equality with everyone else.

Sorry for bringing religious beliefs into this thread... just figured that since some political beliefs rely on religious beliefs, that I would include it, much as lifestyles are sometimes determined by religion.

1. What are your views on abortion? I think abortion would be alright. The reasons for most abortions imo are because the person cannot handle a child. If that child grows up with someone who can't support them, they probably would end up growing up miserably.

Well at first, I (and almost every other American) Supported the war upon the claims of WMDs, but now that we know that there weren't any, I don't support the war, but I support our troops, and as long as we have Soldiers, Marines, Sailors, and Airmen in the Sandbox, I'll suport them.

9. What are your views on nuclear weapons?I think that nuclear weapons are unnecessary for warfare, but the development of them (initially) was of great benefit to the development of nuclear energy.

Traffic cops shouldn't have firearms, only the ones that deal with dangerous situations...trafic stops are number two on the most dangerous situations list, beaten out only by Domestic Violence calls...but traffic cops are the ones that respond to those too.

Traffic cops shouldn't have firearms, only the ones that deal with dangerous situations...trafic stops are number two on the most dangerous situations list, beaten out only by Domestic Violence calls...but traffic cops are the ones that respond to those too.
