Campaign Italia [Redux]

1. These first few "turns" are going to have one battle at a time. After a battle or two, if there is enough interest still in this, I'm going to change it to each individual nationality will pick a territory instead of by side so that we can have two battles moving at any given time.

2. The map itself was rather hastily conceived and territories, especially those in the north, will be combined or otherwise reduced in number.

Like said before, this is very much a work-in-progress and we are all working to refine it as we move along. I have big aspirations for this system... but starting small is always good.

1. I like the sound of that. ;D I remember suggesting about having the Commonwealth, Americans, etc... Separate during the campaign, sounds good if you ventured down that avenue later.

2. I think you would have to combine the lesser territories, just to prevent a very long winded campaign. If the site had a prosperous and constant vibe of activity, things could be different.

All sounds good and I anticipate where this campaign will go! Although, I do think a chunkier (lesser territories) map would work ten times better. We're only a small community.

Heiko, if you're having trouble keeping this campaign in flow, let me know ASAP and I'll throw a hand in to help out. Whether it's moderating or helping devise new battles to keep this campaign flowing.

Now that I'm back and able to direct this again, I believe I'll try to get this rolling again if there is still enough interest in it. What say you IO? Willing to give this another shot?

And drawing upon the offers of a few people earlier, if I could get 1 or 2 other players, staff or not, who feel they have a firm understanding of what we're doing here and are willing to help run this your help would be greatly appreciated.

Happy to provide any help needed. Must have read my mind, I was debating about taking down the "Campaign Italia!" banner the other day, looks as though it's reclaimed it's place for now.

1. I'll rehost the battle-sign up for the first battle shortly.

2. Specifically, I'd like two assistants that could make decent maps for these battles, and/or could take the tactical map, the strategic map, and the course of the campaign and make some interesting, and plausible write-ups for each battle.

I'll take whatever you throw at me. Does this prevent from participating in the campaign?
