Actions:

- The Soviet Soldiers could not see Luther and his men advancing on their position nor could they hear them given the loud noises that had been surrounding most members and NPCs of this battle only a couple minutes ago.

- Just the same the Germans could not hear any sound of enemy troops within the rubble. None the less they cleared the area to secure thier flank.

- However not knowing precisely of the enemy precense the plan altered slightly. Since the large factory building was still an unknown to them, Honecker refused to put his back, or the backs of his men to it, especially given their success so far, there was no need in messing it up now.

- The German troops only came around the eastern side, Luther made Honecker lead them this time.

- All in all this changed very littl of the outcome that would have been. The Soviets were caught off guard by the German advance, the Germans were still slightly surprised but were already on their toes for such an instant.

- Tyvzo, Zjohnso, and Hengel were all still catching their breath slightly when they turned to see the german soldiers coming around the wall and all gasped at the same moment. Honecker's MP40 opened up first, Luther taking the longer route behind him and off to his Sergeant's right side, then he too opened up on them.

- Hengel was hit first by Honecker in the lower torso and bent over slightly...before catching the next two higher up and killing him.

- Tyvzo was also hit by Honecker's initial burst in his left shoulder, Luther came on line by this time and finished the job.

- Zjohnso was the only one of the trio to get a shot off, although rushed and horribly unthought out, it was one of the most accurate shots the Soviets have been on the better end of the entire battle.

- Honecker was hit in the head, but not fatally. The round struck the left side of his chin and traveled the length of this lower jaw, bruising the bone hugely but not breaking it. The round exited his lower check and traveled under his ear to strike the back of his helmet that was then flung into the air and knocking the Sergeant from his feet.

- Zjohnso was unable to chamber another round to continue the fight as Luther had no one else to shoot at and plenty of rounds left in his weapon.

- None of the three Soviets lived long enough to see the ground coming at them, the fire was just too intense, too close, and too fast.

- Given the injury of one of his highest ranking men Luther held the advance to the Factory until the medic could arrive, Luther and his men have secured their current location.

- Honecker's wound is not severe, but given the location, even a man of his caliber is prone to panic and then shock if quick action is not taken.

- The Soviet forces have heard the gunfire and are starting to wonder if their actions to pull back were premature.

As I've stated several times in the cbox while I was unable to fully access the site, skip Hoesslein. Then it came to my attention that Laya's post was meant to be a full on retreat, adding to the map threw me off among other things. So I expressed to Laya that a full retreat post could be made out of turn since the rror was possibly mine, which Luther agreed to. Still this post has not arrived. Well now that I can fully access the site, Laya you have 72 hours to produce a retreat post or this thread will continue as is.

No post from Laya, N. Boryenko (if you are even active) it is your post. You have until the 20th to have a post up, then it falls back to Laya who will have until the 23rd if there is no post from N. Boryenko. If neither of these characters post then Luther, feel free to go forward with this battle. I will be out of town from the 18th to the 24th, hence the added planning written into this post.

Call me nontraditional if you want, but I caught plenty of flak from you guys about moving this battle forward (even though I told you to do so in the cbox when I was unable to actually access the site) and now that things have been done to progress this thread there is no support from the actual members in it...

...SO! From this point until March 10th[/u] ANY member involved with this thread may post, if there is no response by then, the outcome will be settled by myself and this battle will be finalized.

Moderation Post:

- The remaining Soviet troops strapped on their walking shoes and high tailed it out of dodge.

- Unterscharfuhrer Honecker, having been kept out of shock by his fellow men for quite some time eventually slipped into shock and died several minutes later with his men and commander right next to him, lack of medical attention was the main reason...well other than the bullet that went through the edge of his face.

- After his NCO's death Luther secured their location...fuming mad, they had won the day, but it really didn't feel like it.

- Schtriffer, Stempf, Wagner, and Muller all recovered from their wounds.

END RESULT AND FINAL NUMBERS:

Luther - VICTORY!:

You lead your men efficiently, trapping your enemy in a death box and executed your mission very well, you didn't have the highest regard for their safety but this did not bite you in the tail.

- Kills: 11 plus an additional member kill

Hoesslein - VICTORY!:

You were not an integral part of the Axis forces this battle but there wasn't a lot of work for a medic until the end, you did a decent job of keeping the men patched up...when you were here.

- Losses: 1 (Being the medic, Luther's 3rd loss is yours as well)

Eteric - DEFEAT!:

You kept your troops out of harms way, but that may not have been the best route in this battle.

You started off in a decently defendable position, but your enemy took advantage of it before you did...and you died...all over the alleyway.
