The Unnamed Plot Discussion Thread

For Pete's sake, we need a name. If anyone has any name ideas for our plot, feel free to message me IF YOU ARE NOT PARTICIPATING. I want to keep this thread open for discussion - participants, if you have a name idea, post below. Mods, if there is anything in the plot that concerns any of you, post below as well or PM me.

As the title says, this thread concerns the discussion of a large plot I and several others are involved in. This plot involves both sides of the war, and much of it has been figured out thanks to PMs. I felt, however, a need to start a proper discussion thread to make it easier for us.

Basically, this is only a rough outline, based on pre-determined outcomes and what-not negotiated over PM. Any of these are bound to change at any moment - this thread is meant to help document these changes, as well as repair any plot holes and what-not.


The plot so far:

Adelheid ran away from the Allies after nearly being arrested, and was taken in by Jonas Merhoff, who saved her from a group of Hitler Youth. He sees himself in the girl, and takes care of her for a week, having seen the evils of his country's regime through her simple explanations of how she feels. Strumfelder comes along one day, sent to check up on Adelheid after it was discovered she had a concussion. It ended badly, with her being shot and taken hostage, Jonas believing her to be dead. However, Strumfelder aimed carefully, so that wounds only LOOKED fatal. To save his skin after acting suspiciously, Jonas has lied, making up a story that Adelheid being used as a spy, since she lived in an Allied base.


The future plot (may be changed at any time, but pretty much finalized):

To avoid the paradox of an active member of the German Army cooperating with the French resistance only to continue fighting them, Heiko's family in Bremen is thoroughly Anti-Nazi and would be more than willing to provide a home for Addie... maybe a bit anticlimactic but more feasible. Claude could make his way to Bremen (fairly close the the border so it's not crazy for him to be there) and meet Addie there as Heiko's family isn't as emotionally invested in the war as Heiko himself is. Heiko will help Jonas give her a home with them. Strumfelder will begin to raid several places with the Kripo, but because of Heiko's powerful family, he will back off. This will give Jonas a chance to clear his name.


Any errors, inconsistencies, or things in the plot you want changed should be pointed out. Feel free to discuss things over PM and then post your things here.

What started as, "Oh hey, yeah lets rp together!" has been made into so much more. Really got to thank you for spicing up Jonas's life and bringing out a big neutral rping side out of him. Oh and yes this plot seems to be getting rather full and I don't think we will get to the end of it anytime soon. what with all of the involvement like Strum meeting with Claude, Jonas meeting up with the French Resistance, Lebel and Colly... there is going to have to be a few different threads before we get to the end of it.


But I like it a ton so far .

You've been PM'd Adelheid. I've pointed out two very big inconsistancies; Ones that could bring this entire scheme you have going, down at the beginning.

I'm guessing Strumfelder has only agreed up to so far, unless his willing to comply with what ideas you and Jonas had in mind, well, you're screwed. ;D Lol! Just read my PM, will explain everything.

We may have to cross out the meeting with the Resistance for realism's sake. Also, we need some more feedback from Strum, so nothing is absolute for now. Once I have some feedback from him, as well as Danny, I can clarify a couple of things.

Wow, this looks incredibly confusing. You can add my name to the list for when the rifle squad and superior's signature is needed to execute you all.

What I really wanted to say was, wouldn't being taken prisoner mean you are unable to do anything? From what I have read, Jonas is in a lot of trouble and Adelheid is going to be used as a hostage. So unless Jonas escapes or evades capture with some smart move to get himself out of trouble towards Strumfelder catching him out. You still have the problem of Adelheid being in Strumfelder's posession. Being used as a bargaining bid to allure Joe.

Maybe I'm not seeing a point here? Right now however, I'm extremely confused with this plot you have planned out, because none of it will work unless Strumfelder doesn't take action in arresting Jonas, that I don't see happening. Wow I'm confused with this whole plot you're making. None of it makes sense.

We're still working a few things out, Raf. We're just waiting on what Strum will do, and then, when that's done, we can clarify a few things. We've just laid out a framework of ideas, but these next few posts in "Out In The Sun" will determine what will happen. It's like a lump of clay that's only been half-molded.

So, if you'd still like to join, I'll add your name to the list. Jonas is also trying to pull something in the current thread, which I think I forgot to clarify. Let me go back and edit.

No that's fine, unless I'm required on the behalf of Strumfelder, I would rather allow you guys to play this one out. Very thick plot, extremely confusing right now, not really something that would interest me.

You stated above about the inconsistencies and thought I would have my brief say about something you may have not foreseen. If you are awaiting Strumfelder's opinion or actions rather, than you know the deal of being taken prisoner is an option that could royally mess up your plans. Thanks for the invite though, enjoy the storyline however it bodes, sure I'll be acquainted with you one way or another. Hmph...

I'm very well aware of that, yep. In fact, I was expecting it. This plot is just an outline that depends on a few things, and once those things are filled. I'm sorry if it seemed confusing; I've come up with plots before for other RPs, but not as thick as this. Thus, I tend to become a little scatterbrained. ^^;

Anyhow, feel free to hop in or point things out. This involves a lot of members, so help is always loved.

What's the plot with the French Resistence?

And for a title I would like to suggest “Auge um Auge” or "Eye for an Eye" What Mac said to Jonas in his last post in Town Mouse, and basically explains what everyone probably wants to happen to Strum.

And about Town Mouse, I gave you Mac's bible, Jonas, so you had his name. Thought I should finally tell you that.

From what I can tell, Jonas will try and get the French Resistance to work with him (while disguised to try and avoid detection on both sides) to get me back into Allied France. However, the plan might be scrapped, and Heiko's plan used instead. Copied from above:

However, that leaves the problem of Mac and Jonas meeting. I propose that, as soon as Adelheid is well enough, she runs away out of fear the Nazis will find her. That way, Jonas and Mac could possibly stumble across her by accident, and the two could have their rematch.

In all honesty, though, I want to hear what Kitty and Strum have to say.

Perhaps Jonas (maybe Heiko too) are almost caught by Strum and need to move again and they eventually hide out someplace closer to the Allied lines, and Mac is the one sent out to recon where ever they are hide, and he finds them?

It could work, but that relies an awful lot on threads not even made yet. I'll keep at as plot idea, but at this point - key word, this point - a coincidental meeting looks safe enough.

Just a point, but I am going to have to have Jonas arrested. I've discovered a massive weakspot in his story, being that on his watch, he allowed me to kill this girl. He didn't surrender and explain himself until after her 'death', and his actions of climbing out of a window and attacking one of my men pretty much show his traitorious way. Plus, the Kripo are under the direct command of the SS, and I've already shown them what I do to officers which do not perform well in the line of duty.

However, I could have a quick thread with Jonas in the Gestapo Station, where he escapes and flees? Maybe he can rescue Adelheid who is recovering in a hospital and make his way to Bremen. I'm about to have Joe in my grasp, so maybe I can drag the two of you back, claiming I will murder him?

Well actually, if you read the explanation correctly, I was attempting to keep Adelheid under protection as long as possible before you could taint her. I was achieving this by not killing anyone and trying to kill 2 birds with one stone (Sgt and Kripos). And really? Your going to call that traitorous, but you enjoy going around shooting 1 person per 5 minutes? You really acted like a maniac and have ruined an entire operation before I could reveal it to high command, just because you are a little trigger happy.

I wouldn't doubt the Kripo would be relieved not have to follow you what with a superior in the room who gave them significant reasons not to allow you to do anything with me. You so far have killed a Kripo officer, a man who was housing some of the German army, and a spy. Being in the SS doesn't give you the right to do whatever you wish and right now by the looks have it you have sabotaged the German army. Your driving a German occupied town into turmoil which could lead to an attack, you "killed" or nearly killed a spy with vital information, and you have killed a Kripo officer who has quite a lead over the Kripos in the area. So in the end, it should be me the superior arresting you for your traitorous actions. It really looks more like your a traitor just covering it up with your SS. I think high command would be interested that Strumfelder is a traitor adding Doc Vlakte in his escape, no?
