Please can only members of the 3ID vote? This is going to be a 2v2 training thread (Probably) which myself and Rhys (Ealing) will be making. So far the contestants are: Corporal Pearson Lieutenant Mathew
and maybe a few others that I can't remember. If you posted in the 3ID thread, saying you would be interested, please post here for me to add you to the list.

I was thinking, maybe we should incorporate objectives into this. Not just a mindless charge but...objectives...
For instance, off the top of me noggin, maybe one side is defending a defensive structure whilst the other has an explosive (actually just a box or something) and must place it within the structure to earn victory. That kind o' thing...

Yes, that sounds like a good idea. One side has explosives and they have to blow up, say a radio tower and the other side has to defend it. We could incorporate tacticts into it as well. Say, the defending side is alloted one Machine-gun and their commander has to decide which would be the best place to put it.
And what do you guys think of having a Fog of War type map? You can't see the enemy on the map; you have to actually run into them?
Please, everyone shove up suggestions for this. It's for you guys, so you should get a say in what happens.

I like the fog of war idea, that makes a tremendous amount of sense and to me at least, adds an extra level of realism. An objective sounds like a good idea, though without one it would probably just be the first to eliminate all the other team, but objectives make sense. Reminds me of that old Abbot and Costello where they joined the Army and participated in war games... Anyways, yeah, blowing something up, something like that would work well. We might even mix in a few ie first you have to take this bridge which then allows you do assault this hill which finally allows you to reach this town with an objective in it.

Yes, I like the idea of multiple objectives too. I like very much. Yeah, we will include 'villages' into the countryside option, because there would still be countryside around the village. That's what I voted for personally; I think it would be an interesting scenario.
Also, is everyone OK with me Mod-Marking? I wouldn't be participating of course.

Well, I was hoping to be able to mod-mark as part of a modding test. I talked it over briefly with PuNK a while back and I reckon it'd be good experience (no chance of death or capture if I bugger up).

I'm afraid you won't be able to participate in this one, Nathan. I think we are really keeping this thing to low numbers and a plane would unbalance the thing a bit....
