BIGGGG BATTTLEEEEE!!! BWAAAA....
Okay, I'm Finished.
So, I understand the "Medical Palaver" thread is still on-going, but I really think there should be a big battle. All being well, we have an enemy to face.
Rafael hasn't been active and this could be the leeway into scrapping the other thread undergoing (Declare draw perhaps and issue CP as to how the battle's gone) and making a fresh start?
I'm sure Mr Wolfram will return soon and if all else fails, we'll get another enemy to face. But, all I do have to say is. I would love to sink my teeth into a big battle right about now; a proper war thread, not just the skirmishes we've all been taking part in.
So what do you guy's say? Any suggestions or ideas for the big battle?
Hopefully, Mr. Wolfram, who had spoken of a big battle prior to his leave, would also take part.
So, what do you's say? ~Danny

Well, Yes.
Either that, or as Dan was saying before hand to me, he wanted to start an Epic Battle. I'm happy with either option, just as long as a big Battle commences. I think this board could do with a shake up at the moment, get things back on track with a full hardy battle.

Big battle would be brilliant! Yes, Wolfram and I had already talked briefly about one and I agreed with him. It would be so brilliant. A bit hard to map, though. There would be NPC1 in green, NPC2 in yellow, NPC3 in blue. Whats that? there is no more colours?! But, yes; T'would be fun.
Hard to Map? I agree, but it shouldn't be too hard. Here's my solution though.
Within this Example Image, it's pretty self explanatory, but with this method, the usage of loads of different colours doesn't matter.
That way, we can concerntrate on using the colours for "Actions Made" & "Environmental" settings. Such as shrubs, buildings, trees, roads and pavements... Etc...
So using the initals to implement into the units, should also lessen the confusion of who's where! In any thread! So that way, users won't have to keep refering back to the map. Of course, Mod Markers would have too, as the actions made would have to be corressponded with that particular unit. (Such as John Smith or Bob Bobberson).
So whatcha' think? I think a massive battle using this technique could be really interesting and fun. ~Danny

Lmao. Awwwh... I'm actually in the making of a big battle map now.
Anddd, Wolfie didn't say anything. Last I heard, was that he's been inactive due to his father in hospital or something? Thought he returned though. Maybe something's happened?
Hope all's well though... He should be back soon hopefully. ~Danny

EDIT!!! Here's the Map I made, What do you think!?
Certainly different eh? I've also just realised, the map may be a little small (on a scale wise). For a big battle, the map will have to be bigger, as I've made some of the interactional pieces in this map small, meaning, the little blobs representing the units will have to be small too... Which isn't good, if we wish to use the Inital Technique, You won't be able to see them.
So...
I'll try and make another in the mean-time. Glad you like the extra effects I've been using.
*EDIT*
Eh, it's too time consuming to go making another map. Unless you guys fancy making one? I'm sure we'll find a way around the blob units having readable initals in them. It's harder than I thought, to make a big scale map, yet detailed enough for the on-screen units.

Maybe my computer is jacked or something but you two keep talking to each other about this map or multiple maps and what a great idea it is and how different the technique is to accomplish it with, but there is a problem. I don't see any maps!?!?!?!?
