The problem with having a big battle is that only about eight members have been on in the past two days. There's not enough manpower.
You have much to learn. On this website, you can purchase soldiers to fight with you (beneath your command). So eight active members and dozens of bought soldiers (NPCs / Non Person Characters, meaning you control them youself) is very good.
Put it this way... 1 Lieutenant and 30 bought soldiers, Vs an 1 German Captain, with 20 odd bought soldiers and a tank. Could turn out to be a very good battle. That's not including other members, like yourself, who may join.
View the shop (it's in the menu bar) if you don't really understand. You can see all the different things you can buy/sell. ~Danny

Yeah, sorry, I've been reading all the Rules and Information and I think I get everything now.
The Ohama Beach battle was really cool although if there's gonna be another Epic Battle, it should probably be 2 v 2 instead of 4 v 4.
P.S: God, I wish I had some CP....
Woo! Glad you've been reading up. I must admit, it can be very confusing to begin with, but with practice and asking loads of questions, Myself and everyone else is more than happy to help you.
But yes. If you want to own a squad of soldiers and such, you must buy it. Very cheap and earning CP doesn't take long. Just keep Role Playing and soon enough you'll be raking it in!
As for the Epic Battle/s. I agree. 2 vs 2 sounds like more than enough. Otherwise things become confusing and hard for staff to moderate (tell the outcomes of shots made).

I know that there will be no Epic Battles for ages (sadly), but what will the next one be?
Personally, I'd love to play some of the Afro-Egyptian battles.
Never say Never! I may even start one soon now we have many active members!
Before, this place was very slow and we only had a loyal, regular, five or less members. So now, suddenly seeing a serge of Eight and More members, is, wow. This place has risen from the ashes.
I'm more than happy to start taking ideas for the next Epic Battle. The last one finished extremely early, I started a whole Campaign to be foreplayed with, but after Omaha Beach, it was ended due to mass Inactivity and a little confusion.
There's also mixed feelings about the next Epic Battle. Some want "Bastone" which was a battle fought in Normandy, France, within bitter cold climates (Snow) and within the woodlands. Other's want "African Frontiers" where the British/Australians fought gruelling battles in Tanks and LARV (Light Armoured Vehicles).
So it's a mixed response. ~Danny

Yes, we need an epic battle. There is a lot of smaller battle threads going on, but I think we should just unite everyone in one big battle. PuNk, I could organise it if you don't feel up to it?

Big battle sounds great. I'm happy with whatever scenario you staff choose, or we choose, either way, so long as I can take heed in leading the Axis?
-Coughs- Where's my promotion already!? -Coughs-
Bastone sounds good by the way, but again, I'm happy with whatever you guys choose. Sand, snow, trees, dirt. all the same to me and yeah, I think Dan should be allowed to arrange this epic battle, he wanted to do one a good while back, when we wanted to do a big battle. only fair -Raf

Yeah there is loads of ideas so far. Desert Campaign, Bastone. I think Market Garden would be cool. Or maybe the invasion of Sicily. See, loads of ideas.
We could have a massive battle where the two active battalions (Royal Marines Commandos and the AXIS one) go head to head. But that could get quite confusing I suppose.
