American Civil War, Copperhead (Notherner fighting for the South). Good read. As are all of Bernard Cornwell's books (If you see one, buy it/borrow it/check it out/steal it)
He has quite a line of books. American Civil War, Hundred Years War, The Danish/Anglo-Saxon wars, American Revolution. I haven't read a Bernard Cornwell book I didn't like, and I've read (lemme think...)

Somewhere between nine and eleven.
I started reading a book not too long ago, it was an alternate history deal, about what might have happened had the Japanese finished the job in Pearl Harbor, following it up with an invasion and occupation. I got about halfway through and the book disappeared.
Plus I'm reading Liberty and Tyranny - A Conservative Manifesto, by Mark Levin. Fine book.
"Only the seeds that in life we have sown, these will pass onwards when we are forgotten, only remembered for what we have done" - Only Remembered - War Horse
Currently, I'm reading "Dambusters" by Max Arthur. It's about 617 SQN from Day One when WGCDR Gibson was told to make a squadron up until the aftermath of the infamous raid. Every intersting, as there is very little narrative, instead it is done in the style of an interview, from the memoirs of the air- and ground-crews involved.
Very interesting look in to how the squadron worked, and how the men gelled.

I am a voracious reader and almost always have a book with me wherever I go. So here goes the list!!
"A Company of Heroes" by Marcus Brotherton, and contributed to by family members of E Company Soldiers.
I am working my way through all of the Brad Thor novels. Currently, I am on Blowback. After that, I read TakeDown, and I am finished with his books to date. (I read them out of order accidentally at first, and then righted myself along the way)
I am also reading a book on Cinderella man, James J. Braddock.
"No Surrender" the name of the author escapes me right now, but it's a great book so far.
