Just finished Azincourt by Bernard Cornwell. If anyone here's interested in military history, I'd definetely reccomend it. Seeing as it's mainly about butchering the French, maybe you'd be interested in reading it, PuNK...

At the moment I am reading a book called "Als Panzerschütze beim Deutschen Afrika Korps" from Otto Henning. It's about the memories of a 17 year old german, who served as a shooter in an armoured scoutcar from the beginning to the very end of the german North Africa campaign. I can just recommend it to everyone who's interested in the war in africa and who has got enough knowledge of german language, because unfortunately I did never see an english version of it. But believe me, it's worth the try.

I have finished reading a lovely article on the Internet about Irish Gaelic grammar. I have also finished reading several RP posts on here, as well as Rhys's sig, and the IO cast lists.

I would love to read it, as I don't have much knowledge myself so I have to do some research on it for the division. If you ever find an English version please tell me .

Actually this guy even served in the 21. for a short time. His reconnaissance- company 580 was a part of the 21. Panzer Division from February 1943 untill the very end in Africa. If I should ever find it in english, I'll let you know.
Finished reading Huck Finn for my Honors English class. It Wasn't one of my particular favorites. I wish I could do some independent reading, but Honors has me reading books out the wazoo.
Huck Finn was probably one of my favorite books I had to read for school, although that year I had a good English teacher and he made reading all of the books easier to enjoy, except he couldn't help A Separate Peace. Also you should stay away from The Life of Pi.
But now I'm reading Tom Clancy's Without Remorse, which has a surprisingly similar plot the movie Taken.
If I come in contact with another "Man loves prostitute, kills all of her pimps" this week, I will go insane.

I am currently reading a book called Sniper. For those of you who have seen Enemy at the Gates, it is the story of the girl that partners him and that ends up going out with Vasily Zaitsev throughout the film. In reality she was only 16 and she killed 84 Germans!!! (and by the way they never actually got down with each other for those who were wondering then )
But more to the point it is a very good book for you sniper fans. ;D
I am reading "Brothers in Combat" by Babe Heffron and Bill Guarnere. However, I think I might be hindered by my Honors English class, which is beginning both "Catcher in the Rye" and "The Grapes of Wrath" within the next week.

Just finished reading The Rise And Fall Of The Third Reich, this one took me a whole month to read! Granted, it's a long book, but I also haven't had too much time to read recently.
I was especially interested in reading about the very beginnings of the National Socialist party, it's quite an amazing story in itself. The middle parts of the book were not that interesting, the diplomatic excursions of the various figures of this time are of course an integral part of history, but couldn't hold my interest too well. (This part took me the longest time to read..)
All in all, a very important book and a recommended read for anyone interested in the subject.
