Oh right, sounds interesting. When i was away for a week, i did manage to read a whole book (within the few days i bought it, down there). So i was really chuffed with myself.
The book's called - "Legion of the Damned" by Sven Hassel. - It follows a German soldier in a "Penal Regiment" (Criminal Regiment) and how he and his comrades were made to frontal the assaults and cover the flanks of retreating regiments - overall, be cannon fodder. But he survived and reached a Lieutenant Rank (maybe higher, haven't read the other editions yet) from merely starting off as a Private.
So out of Thousands of soldiers, himself and seven other comrades were the only survivors - so when replacements were introduced, he gained a high rank. Remkarable stories he has.
Ohh... I kinda snagged another two books to read too - SS GB (Nazis in Britain, Fictional) and Shindler's Ark. ~Danny

WELL... I just like the whole WWII scenario, because it's reality and we still have veterans alive today from the war, with fascinating stories. I used to like reading Vampire Cronicles and books, but i sort of grew out of that.
Have been reading "Joe Strummer's" Biography. Massive book though, only reached halfway. ~Danny

Well, I just finished a book called "An Abundance of Katherines". It was about a prodigy with a strange pattern of relationships with girls who have the name Katherine. The book was very fun to read, but it should have been longer.

I am reading too many books at one time, but two I'm reading are The Assault on Reason by Al Gore and The Celebration Chronicles that explains Disney's failed attempt at creating a planned community.

I have been doing a lot of reading this week...
So, somebody told me to read Twilight or they wouldn't let me come to the movie with them. I started that on last Friday and got hooked enough to purchase two of the sequels.
If I finish the one that I am on now (#3 ) by Friday, then I will have read more than 1500 pages in one week.
...I did say hooked...
