Snipers are only available through a certification process at this time and the following rules apply to those members:
1 - Snipers have the ability to edit the map of a hostile thread in which they are fighting in WITHOUT having to disclose their location IF they have the proper camouflage for the environment in which they are hiding.
2 - The moderator of a hostile thread that a sniper is fighting in MUST be PMd with the actual map to know where the sniper is, his line of fire and if he moves.
3 - If at anytime the Moderator of the hostile thread the sniper is fighting in feels that the sniper has given himself away by either not concealing himself well enough, firing too many times in the same location, or any other legitimate reason he may disclose the location of the sniper. Also the moderator may disclose the information if the enemy gets too close to the sniper finding the sniper themselves.
4 - It is possible for a sniper to regain concealment IF the sniper is able to get far enough away from the enemy and hide again out of sight.
5. - The Rogue Marksman Certification does not enable you to be hidden on the map, but the use of cameo does highten your defense greatly and you are far less likely to be hit.
The Skilled Marksman Certification in conjunction with the appropriate Cameo, will allow you to be concealed on the map as to your whereabouts.
