The bedroom was dark. Devoid of warmth or movement. No form of light had touched the dusty surfaces in the room for longer then could be remembered. The bed was moldy, rotten, on the verge of collapsing under the weight of time and neglect. Book shelf's lay bare, the tomes they held has long ago reverted to dust that had, without a wind to scatter them, trickled into piles on the floor. Dispite the obvious abandonment and the copious evidence of quitclaim, it's occupant still remained. The flesh and muscle had long ago sloughed from his bones and rotted away to dust leaving his skeleton dust covered and slumped over his desk. The bones of his hands still clutched the keyboard of an acer laptop that stared at the dirty, bleached crown of his skull. They had remained locked in this way since it ended, but suddenly, the blank screen flickered and came to life. It's cold light playing over the skeleton before it. The darkness shrank back in disgust at the sudden intrusion of the pallid light. On the flickering screen, a flash page blurs into focus showing an image of men dressed and ready for war, two words shine above them. "Issuing Orders."
With a crack like dry twigs snapping underfoot, one of the once lifeless hands lifts and reaches for the enter key.
.... In other words. I'm on my way back!! As many of you know, I dropped off the radar not long after starting a management course. Well, the end is in sight. I should have all my study done and dusted by October, witch means ill be able to return to the site. Hurrah!!
