A Semi- Hilarious Moment

well i have had a horrible but funny incident happen to me lately, i messed up my back and had two gashes in my knees from falling down the steps. (it was about two or three)
all of this was from running from a best friend, and i tripped over my other friend who was standing behind me. (nice way for me to almost get injured before tennis season.)

Well, I had an awkward moment last week sometime. I was on foot patrol (I'm a policeman) through a church/ruins in the evening with a colleague and the leaves here have only just started to fall, autumn time for us. Plus it's getting colder and with it, wetter!

Well anyway, we're walking along this slippery path through the church/ruins and suddenly my boots slipped on some wet leaves and I almost fell over, but grabbed my colleague's hand in the process to stop myself from falling and yeah - not a manly thing to do, holding onto someone's hand, especially two police officers taking a stroll through some ruins. Ahem!

So that was a bit embarrassing, lol! Still, it stopped me falling over.

lol wow. that was funny and embarassing, i am glad you caught your balance. ("i wanna hold your hand", sorry that just made me think about that song)

and there is a major cold snap where i live also. it feels like winter right now.
