He had gotten a bit of leave from the constant fighting and had been send to the Capital Moscow to relax before being sent back to the front with his men, that was one thing he enjoyed about being Komsomol and an Officer it gave some nice times off although he was still looking forward to be back with his men and fighting against the German invader not having much feeling that the red army would be able to do it alone.
When coming to Moscow a few days before he had gotten a nice shower and his first decent meal in weeks, he felt nice being in a clean uniform as well as finally having a full stomach although it visible that he had come from the harsh parts of the fighting still regaining the colour in his skin after a harsh winter of fighting crawling through bodies and shooting Germans loosing men trying to keep a control of the districts and who he lost in his platoon.
After having walked a bit down the street he had found a nice café/restaurant and had decided to sit down. Now he sat there drinking a cup of coffee overlooking theVolga Moskva river that had boats with troops sailing back and forward. He shrugged at the thought that there was few in his kind of black naval uniform around other then on the ships.
He took off his cap and placed it on the table and leant back going into thought. While with one hand he was sitting and messing with the Collar tab that told his rank as a Lieutenant and relaxing.

The Volga doesn't flow through Moscow, the Moskva does.
