- Staffenburg was born in 1919 in Berlin Germany.Staffenburg father fought in World War 1 as a infantry officer.Staffenburgs early life was rough on him. Since Germany lost World War 1 the government was in high debt.Staffenburg's Parent couldn't afford food and clothing for there son.Staffenburg didn't play with kids his age he joined street gangs to get food and clothing.He often stole from everyone walking down the dark roads at night.But by 1935 he was 15 he found the German Workers Party.He felt that he found the perfect place for his political ideas.He joined with most of his friends and began doing the same thing as when there were small.They stole in day time even when people seen them taking food they didn't do anything.The German morale was lower than ever.In 1936 he met Adolf Hitler at one of there party's rallies.he felt inspired that Germany will once again become a major power in Europe once again.During Hitlers first attemped to take down the government Staffenburg followed him to Munich Germany.When Hitler was imprisoned Staffenburg didn't quit the party and felt that this was just the beginning of the rise for power.When Hitler won the elections Staffenburg was nominated to go to officer's academy but was denied.Staffenburgs application was denied due to the fact that he never joined military service and his school grades were terrible.Hitler helped him get another nomination to the academy.The academy simply replied that he at least had to join the military to get in.So Staffenburg joined the German Army and was then moved to the Waffen SS later on.His academy applications was still put on hold.

Staffenburg's commander jerked and fell sideways off the Tiger tank.The whole tank crew fell silent.Staffenburg looked out of the tank slowly.He saw a sniper on a nearby tree about 400 yards.Staffenburg shut the hatch and looked at the loader.Staffenburg shouted out and said Sniper on a tree about 400 yards northwest.Staffenbrug herd the said orders sir?Staffenburg looked sharply at the gunner and said load the gun!The loader began loading the gun.Staffenburg said Driver move 400 yards north west! In Staffenburg's mind they would simply run the tree over. The tank jerked like a speed bump.They must of ran the tree over.Staffenburg opened the hatch and looked out for any more enemy troops.He looked out saw a T34 tank moving over a nearby hill.Staffenburg yelled into the tank and said T34 west 900yards.The loader looked at him scared like this was going to be his final moments to live.The gunner said ready!Staffenburg said Fire now!The tiger tank jerked heavily.Staffenburg looked to where the tank once stood.The T34 was on fire and seeing a couple of crew members run away.The he saw three T34s moving there way at full speed.Staffenburg went back inside and said three T34s 1,200 yards.The gunner yelled and said ready!Staffenburg shouted Fire Now!The tank jerked.Staffenburg looked out and saw a crater near the first tank.Staffenbug yelled back in and said Miss!The loader put in another shell in.Staffenburg yelled at the driver and said advance to the rear!He looked back out and seen that they just git the attention of the tank.The tank moved back and stopped.Staffenburg then said are you ready.The whole crew replied yes sir!Staffenburg then yelled Fire! the tank jerked and herd a loud boom over the distance.He looked out and saw it was hit.The the two other T34s began turning there turrets over there direction.One of the T34s fired and made a crater next to there tank.Staffenburg then looked down and yelled lets get out of here now!The tank moved and made it out alive back to base.

There are a few bits which I had to read twice for them to make sense, and it doesn't have the lenth of SS-Unterscharführer, so I'll accept you at Sturmann (Lance-Corporal).
