This is going to be short and sweet, well hopefully, if you aren't totally incompetent. You will receive the ability to repair vehicles and hand guns so that is what this will be comprised of. Mainly just questions, fill in the blanks, I don't do the multiple choice thing, unless it is like the one Raf gave me, ANYWAY!!!
First off I can honestly think of ten internal parts to an automatic pistol, there are fourteen or so that are common. Name four of them. If you are unsure on some, list as many as you can think of, you only need to have four correct answers. Also pertaining to handguns, what is the first thing you do when you are cleaning/repairing one?
Secondly, when it comes to vehicles, I have a few for you.
-The brakes are out in a vehicle and it is towed to your shop for you to fix, what are two items you would check? Up to five that I can think of at the moment, again feel free to list more.
-What does power steering do?
-What does a radiator do?
-How many spark plugs does a 16-valve engine NORMALLY have?
Best of Luck!! I need you to post as soon as you have read this, that is when your time starts, you have 24 hours from then to complete this. Like I said, short and sweet, but moderately easy. This is it in it's entirety. You pass this, you get your Certification.

This is one I got stuck on 'cos I'm not a gun-nut like you. Chamber. Yes, that was kinda terrible. firing pin. I think Magazine. Well, technically it is inside the pistol sometimes... A spring.
First thing you do when cleaning repairing handguns? I dunno, take it apart?
Brakes? Check is there brake fluid. Are the brake pads all worn?
What does power steering do? In older cars the steering wheel and the wheels were connected by a long line of cogs and levers. In cars with power steering, the wheel does something with a pump that's connected to a lever that goes to the wheels. Yes, I don't know anything about this cert. I was saving up for any cert and the engineer thing was kind of spur of the moment.
What does a radiator do? Radiator keeps water in it, so it can cool down the engine when it's getting hot.
How many spark plugs does a 16 valve engine have? 4. I did have to look in a book for that, I'm afraid.

Well I've read it over and here it goes.
Question one, you could have named more if you were unsure, in the future I would suggest taking advantage of this, but none the less you were able to pull it off. The spring is a guide rod spring by the way and the chamber is a built in part of the barrel but I'll give it to you.
The first thing you do before cleaning or repairing a firearm is to clear it, so you don't accidentally shoot yourself, someone else, or something important.
Good job on the brakes.
Not too bad of a job on the power steering fluid, it has hydraulic pumps at work as well.
In a general sense you got the radiator question, but very general, I should have been more specific, for anyone else that reads this I won't make it so easy next time.
Whether you looked it up or not, you got the answer for the spark plugs, I'm glad you went through the effort of doing so, proves you are willing to find something out if need be.
Had you not looked it up and gotten it wrong, I would not have awarded you the certification, not with two wrong answers anyway. You pulled it off by the skin of your teeth Dan, but congratulations none the less.
