OK look, yet has anyone come close to using up the amount of time given to them to complete a certification test, including myself, I'm not saying don't answer for a while if you know, I'm saying be more than sure of your answers before you give them.

Alright David, this certification, though delayed for map uploading purposes will be strictly question based. Read each question CAREFULLY so that you may come to the best answer. You will have four days to complete this testing process. You must reach a 70% success rate to pass this test. Good luck.

Please remember that the majority, if not the entirety of this will be based on the U.S. Military, sorry it is just what I know about, not to mention, you are in an American unit.

#1 - Under optimum conditions, how many soldiers does it take to apply camo face paint to one soldier, including the soldier wearing the paint?

#2 - Why are dog tag chains the specified length that they are?

#3 - At night, how do you preserve night vision while still watching events that are taking place?

#4 - You have a rifle, it fires in semi automatic and three shot burst, by the book, how do you load the rifle for burst fire?

#5 - What does S-P-O-R-T-S stand for? (It has to do with a rifle malfunction)

#6 - Why is the 3-5 second rush used when moving while the enemy knows your location?

#7 - What is the third General Order?

#8 - DS stands for?

#9 - What are the seven(7) Army Core Values?

#10 - How often should natural camouflage of a fixed position be changed and why?

Sorry had to guess questions 3 and 10.

1. 2 Soldiers including soldier wearing paint.

2. One is worn on a long chain around the neck; the second on a much smaller chain attached to the first chain. In the event the wearer is killed the second tag is collected and the first remains with the body.

3. A guess! Give your eyes twenty minuits to get used to the dark as then they will be at maximum effectivness after that ammount of time. Avoid looking at lights as this will cause your eyes to go back to normal and you will have to wait for twenty minuits again.

4. 1: Point the muzzle in a safe direction.
2: Cock the rifle to open the bolt and return the charging handle to the forward poition.
3: Check the Chamber to ensure it is clear.
4: Place the selector lever in the BURST position.
5: Pull the trigger, holding it in the rear position.
6: Pull the charging handle to the rear and release it.
7: Repeat the step above, three times.
8: Pull the charging handle to the rear, holding it in place, and release the trigger.
9: Push in on bottom portion of the bolt catch, locking the bolt in the rear poition.
10: Slide charging handle all the way forward.
11: Place the selector lever on safe.
12: Inser the magazine, pushing it upwards until the magazine catch engages and holds the magazine.
13: Tap upward on the bottom of the magazine to ensure it is seated.

6. The 3-5 second rush is used to cover a short distance quickly and minimise the chance of the enemy tracking you down with automatic fire.

7. I will report violations of my special orders, emergencies, and anything not covered in my instructions to the commander of the relief.

10. This is a guess! three times a day in daylight hours. Because terrain(trees bushes whatever the camo is) changes in appearence at diffferent times of day.

Looks like someone did some research, I'm proud, now lets see if it paid off.

#1 - Correct

#2 - Incorrect - The longer of the two chains has exactly 365 beads, one for each day of the year, the shorter of the two chains has exactly 52 beads, one for each week of the year, mainly if you are separated or lost you can keep track of how long you have been out of contact, some will say it is for P.O.W. usage, but you will almost never have the option of keeping them in captivity.

#3 - Incorrect - to preserve night vision means you already had it, the bit about twenty minutes is not needed. You are to close your dominant eye, leaving your non-dominant eye exposed, you lose depth perception, but when all goes dark again, your dominant eye will overrule the other, making it almost as if you never lost any of it.

#10 - Incorrect - Once daily due to natural camouflage dieing after too long, therefore exposing your location as if you never used any at all. Too many changes present too many risks of being spotted.



David you passed this by the skin of your teeth, 70%, which is what I asked, no one is perfect, but a few of those answers were, nice work.
