When? Where? And why?

If you could go back in time between 1939 - 1945 (duration of the second world war period) and appear anywhere on mother earth as well; where would you go and what would you do?

Personally, as terrible as the second world war was and I would do anything to prevent it from happening, I also think in doing so would only entice the same war to occur later in human history.

So I think I would like to appear on VE day and enjoy the mass celebration.

Hmmm... I think I would be a Nazi Eastern European or Balkan in the SS.

(Just because I simply love the uniforms I freaking hate everything they stood for though and I <3 <3 <3 <3 Eastern Europe and the Balkans)

Even though im Canadian, I would probably go back to Serbia and join the Chetnik forces, and try to help my fellow Serbs.
