Medical Area/Bunks[/b]
Hey Stephen, you can say whether you’re in a bed or else where, didn’t want to make a post stating where you was, unless you had other ideas for your character.
The fire was immense, fuel barrels spiralling out of control with hurled licks of flames towards the sky - yet the soldier’s stacked sandbags around the main entourage of fire, to try and seize it from spreading, allowing the fuel and supplies to burn themselves out - it was the only way to contain the fire appropriately without more casualties.
The Lieutenant stood by the window within the Medical Area, his hands neatly sprawled across the wooden window ledge, his eyes glimmering from the nearby blaze of fire in which a small crowd of selected men fought the fire still, watching it, monitoring it, making sure it didn’t spread any further without a fight. The inferno was immense, the Lieutenant could only pray no Nazis recognised the blaze from aerial views, for their base would be open to an attack - the fire acting as a huge flare for bombers to drop their payload.
After his ignorant and arrogant gestures in not being seen by Medical Staff, he was eventually ordered by a senior CO to ‘Shut the hell up’ and ‘Get himself seen too’, which abruptly made the Lieutenant less reluctant to the medical care the Medical staff gave him, but still disliked them none the less. For in Liam’s mind, he was okay and didn’t need anyone’s sympathy….
Turning his back to the window, the Lieutenant overlooked the room’s wounded, some of them awake, just laying there, deep in thought - whilst other’s had a game of cards in the corner. The room was lively enough, thankfully not depressing, but either way, he couldn’t wait to just get seen too and get out.
