The small pub was filled with activity everybody was laughing and having fun but Tom felt miserable. He had just heard news that one of his cousins had been killed in France. He sat their miserably and called the barmaid over ''another pint please and fill it to the brim this time''Tom said harshly.
He would drink himself away like he had in Oxford. He began to chuckle at himself as he though that his cousin would make a joke out of this but he wasn't there any more he had joined his parents in heaven.
Although he was in the front line he was given leave to go to his cousins funeral. Then he though to himself again how he yearned to see he home again the long sandy shores , the green grass of his home, the high snow peaked mountains and the beautiful countryside of wales.
He began to sing in a welsh song about the dead and how they morned them. He then let his head to go as he thought of his cousin and home would he see his home again he wasn't shore as he drunk.
OOC: Spell check it next time man. There are loads of mistakes in that post.
Rhodri opened the big double doors to the sight of a lot of people drinking away their sorrows not to mention their wallets. He walked up to the bar and ordered a pint. The barmaid picked up a glass and filled it with beer. She placed it on the bar and took the money from Rhodri. Rhodri picked up the beer and walked over to the table where his fellow Welshman Tom Edwards was singing a drunken version of welsh music.
'Hello,' he said.
Rhodri couldn't tell what he was singing as his friends slightly drunkenness was making him slur his words. Rhodri sat and drank his beer in silence. He looked around the room to see more drunken people. One or two were singing but none were singing the same song as Tom.
Tom was so drunk he nearly didn't recognize his fellow corporal and Welshman he stop singing''Sorry I'm not in a cheerful I've just got news cousins dead''he said bluntly. ''Have you heard another private died i think his name was,hey you fill It to the brim dam you woman can't you do a thing right''he said angrily. ''Sorry about that Rhodri '' he said to his friend. He signed ''you gust can't get the staff these days'' he said.
He beckoned at the barmaid for another drink. He felt said and unhappy but at least the beer made him feel a bit light headed as he began to sing about Wales.

David pushed his way leisurely through the big double doors that led into the bar. He was surprised that when he quickly scanned the room everybody was drunk besides a Corporal named Rhodri who had recently fought alongside David. As he slowly sat himself down next to the Corporal he heard the sound of Corporal Edwards singing a dunk version of a Welsh song. He heard that Corporal Edwards was out to drink away the sorrow of the death of his Cousin.
David had come to the bar for the same reason. To drink away the sorrow of the Death of Private Glyndwr who was recently killed in action. After ordering a beer David decided it was time for a conversation. "So Rhodri how's it been since the battle against that sniper?" asked David hatefully remembering the day Glyndwr had been killed.
"Maybe someday we will fight alongside each other once more but hopefully not in France"said David in a slightly happier tone. "And Edwards I don't think you should have any more too drink.
Tom had heared about the sorrow that Sargent Bevan felt when he lost private Glyndwr he looked like he had aged a bit after Glydwrs death.
'' as heard he what the Sargent said he grunted in reply and said'' I drink how much i want sir but next time you say that i will use my superior abilities and leave you disabled sir'' He continued to drink. He hated officers but Bevan wasn't that bad he was just angry that was all.
He called the barmaid over ''you see that man over there how about talking to him he's been a bit suicidal lately it's just he's a friend and one of his privates died the other day like a son to him he was''. He watched as she headed over to the Sargent. He drunk another two pints. He called for a refill. After a few minutes he called over the barmaid ''I want i pint for my Friend Sargent Bevan and me''.
He though of what to say to him in the end he said'' David I know you don't want to here this but it wasn't your fault you ccould not have done anything if you would have died think think who would be my drink buddy? Hey glyndwr was a good kid he's gone now you have to move on I now it's hard my cousins just died think though Glyndwr would not want you crying over him you have to be strong he would have wanted it to be that way now ar you going to sulk over him o'r drink to his memorie like a man?''he waited for his friends anser.

David could not understand a word that Tom had said. It was impossible with how much Tom was slurring his words and at this moment David thought he was a disgrace to the marine core. "Sorry mate I don't speak drunk"said David laughing at his own joke.
The barmaid moved over to David but before she had a chance to speak David had already said "I don't need your sympathy". The barmaid obviously felt sorry for David and refiled his beer glass free of charge. The barmaid returned hurriedly with the freezing cold beer and walked off to serve other drinkers. David was determined not to let temptation get the better of him and cause him to buy more than four pints of beer.
David turned to Corporal Rhodri and said " we should get tom back to the barracks soon or he's gonna get violent". He waited patiently for Rhodris answer hoping he would agree.
Tom heard what he said and laghed. As he was about to drink he nearly fell over. He loughed ''bettar stop drinking!'' he said and asked for some coldd water.''And no Rhodri your not taking me to the barracks''he added.
He disided to say the speach again and said'' David I know you don't want to here this but it wasn't your fault you ccould not have done anything if you would have died think think who would be my drink buddy? Hey glyndwr was a good kid he's gone now you have to move on I now it's hard my cousins just died think though Glyndwr would not want you crying over him you have to be strong he would have wanted it to be that way now ar you going to sulk over him o'r drink to his memorie like a man?''he waited for his friends anser.
Tom said he would stay for a bit longer but he decided not to if he would drink to much he would get in trouble and he hated when people got the batter o'v him Tom had,had drink. He was losing his balance he decided to go. He left threw the double door.Shouting ''don't forget what i told you''.
OOC:Sorry David but this is really getting boring see ya

OOC:I KNOW IT'S RUBBISH i DIDN'T MAKE IT! Sorry this is a rubbish post but Tom your thread sucks!
David felt like strangling Tom after such a cheesy speech. He obviously thought he was superior to David yet all he was doing was sulking about the death of his cousin. "Shut your trap before I shut it for you" said David threateningly readying himself for a fight but the Corporal simply got to his feet and left through the double doors shouting "don't forget what I told you".
After David had finished hurling abuse at tom he noticed that Williams had also left the bar. David knew he would not enjoy drinking alone in a bar full of drunks so he dragged himself painfully to his feet and left through the double doors.
As he made his way along the quiet country lane towards the barracks he thought over the events of that evening. When he looked back it must have been the worst night of his life mourning the loss of Private Glyndwr while having a to put up with a drunk Corporal. all in all an incredible uneventfully evening.
