Well gentlemen, I was not lying when I said this would happen, it just took a little bit to get it going. Before you all ask questions, the red boxes on the map are old run down vehicles/tanks that are used by pilots for target practice, the "X"s are mounted machine guns, to give everyone a scale on this thing, the runway is 1/4th of a mile long. The invaders my not place introductory units any further inside the map than 1/16th of a mile (roughly), the only exception is on the top edge right next to the base, no one may enter the map their until the second round of posting, that is more than likely right as or just before the pilots will have refueled.

The scenario is that the pilots are returning from a mission (they have really just been out practicing all day) and are on their way back to land and refuel. This process will take three rounds of posting, one to land, one to refuel, and one to take off. Let's keep the movements realistic on both sides, I gave you a scale.

The teams are as follows:

Defenders:

SFC Lewis
Bravo Company - Only the men Labeled "SR", "JK", and the unlabeled men
Charlie Company - minus the soldiers, only the medics
Delta Company

Invaders:

Cpt. Patterson
Headquarters Company
Alpha Company
Bravo Company - Only men Labeled "DB" and "LJ"
Charlie Company - soldiers only

Anything you wish to purchase to use in this thread MUST be done before YOUR first post. The posting order is as follows:

1 - Lewis
2 - Patterson
3 - N. Knight
4 - Brennan
5 - Brannigan
6 - Jackson

The defenders must all start inside one of the buildings or at one of the three gates, no more than two men at each gate. The pilots are to enter from the North eastern most corner of the map. You have access to a radio in the control tower to communicate with the pilots. The control tower is the round building.

As usual, the first post is to be strictly introductory in nature. If you have any further questions PM me with them and I will put them into this post if necessary.

IF Varek, Riley, or Jones returns, the posting order will NOT be amended to compensate.

OOC: Well Here it goes sorry I took so long was waiting to buy a few things.




Lewis had been waiting to begin this exercise, he was having some trouble getting a hold of his equipment, the shop had been late getting it to him. Lewis thought "Better late than nothing" He had ordered all staff on the base to the runway for a briefing. " We hold this base with all of our might!" Boasted Lewis Now!, I want all of the main entrances secured tightly. Now Move Out!"

Lewis began on his walk from the runway to the tower along with his 6 units. Lewis told his 6 units that they would come into the tower with him to help spot. Peter T. Brannigan had also been following Lewis due to the orders that he would also come into the tower with Lewis to help spot.

The other two medics from Charlie Company, James F. Bedford, and Robert H. Tompkins were stationed in the two buildings Tompkins was in the barracks and Bedford was in the mess hall.

The five men from Bravo Company ordered to stay in the barracks were, Private Frank Martin, Private Jake Travers, Private Joe Garnett, Private Eric Haley, and Private Thomas Allen.

The 4 men From Bravo Company ordered to stay in the mess hall were Private John Smith, Private Harry Jones, Private James Clotwothy,Private Daniel Davies.

Two men from Bravo ordered to stay in the Storage room were Private Ryan Wilson, Private Thomas Pepper.

The East Entrance is secured by, Private Logan Micheals, and Private Phillip Armstrong. Armstrong being on the farthest South MG.

The West Entrance is Covered by Private Daniel Fair, and Private Patrick Bailey. Bailey manning the Souther MG.

The North Entrance is maintained by Private Keith Rogers, and Private Neal Mitchell. Neal manning the Western MG.


After running a quick check and making sure everybody is in position Lewis Says
"November this radio control what is your ETA over" over the radio,Then he waits.

Patterson viewed the unsuspecting air base a mile or so before him, looking around a bit. "Morrison!! Let the others know that this base has a huge amount of defenses, we need to strike quickly, and tell Jackson to call in some artillery on that Control Tower," he returned his binoculars to his face. raising an eyebrow in the process as he heard the roar of incoming planes. "We don't have a big window here, let's not screw this up gentlemen."

Morrison answered with a hearty "Yes sir! as he then got on the horn to the other units. "Men line up on this ridge, we might not be able to do much but maybe we can keep their attention." Patterson grabbed his grease gun and pulled it from his back, pointing to the edge of the clifface.

[Nathan Whyte]

The rusting hull of the tank shook wildly as fifty odd rounds of 7.7mm broke through the metal. Nathan smiled as he pulled his plane out of the steep dive. He spoke into the microphone of his radio, ”Alright boys, good run, lets do another then turn around for some lunch”
”Nathan, I reckon we might want to pull off.” Lewis spoke over the radio, rolling his aircraft and gently increasing throttle.
”Why’s that?”
”Kids”

Nathan looked onto the ground, and sure enough a large mob of children were running across the fields, waving their arms madly at the trio of planes in the air. Nathan rolled upside down and flew low over them returning the wave before joining the other two pilots in the air. As the three planes flew through the air pulling off a variety of aerobatics, a pair of large black trucks drove over to the children with M.P. written on the sides in black. Nathan raised his eyebrows in thought before speaking carefully into the microphone. ”Hey, guys, any reason why the M.P. is rounding these children up early? I thought we had another hour or so until the training ex.”
As if in answer, Damian Lewis sparked up the radio. ”November, this is radio control. What is your ETA?”
Nathan responded instantly. ”We’ll be on the tarmac in approximately five minutes. Get the techies ready for a quick refuel and have the training ammo prepared.

The three planes banked around and spread out slightly. Nathan reduced the throttle and lowered his landing gear as his plane circled the base a few times to reduce altitude.


OOC: How will people 'kill' me, and how will we 'kill' the tank?

OOC: Well we were thinking maybe we could just treat this as if it were normal and what happens to people would be normal too, except after the exercise everything would be back to normal, thats what I think JT had decided.
