Jack was getting anoid at a sergeon because of his bossyness .It was horrible it was either "Get me this do that you've done this wrong".It was horrible. He had just finished treating a man with a bullet in his leg his shift was over so he took off his things and started walking out of the hospital when he heard a nurse shout we need help he turned to see a man without a leg and blood gushing everywhere he ran over and started doing his job.
It was about half a hour later that he was done so he yet again picked up his things and walked out of the hospital ward.He ws going down the stairs when he stopped and started to think of how the man felt without his leg it must be hard for him.He made a vow at that point to help anyone who needed it.
He said to himself "I hope that none of the things that happend in there will happen to me."
He stopped and sat down pondering things over in his head he could still hear the scrams of agonycoming from the ward and he half got up to go and help but then remmemberd that there were other sergeons who could do the job just as well as he could and he sast down again and lost himself to his thoughts.

David rushed through the heavy double doors of the hospital pushing them wide open. Small pools of bloody littered the hallway contrasting with the white floor. It was probably from a patient recently brought in.
David noticed the presence of a combat medic sitting leisurely in a chair who seemed to be deep in thought. David knew that he was going to be questioned why he had come to the hospital but he already had his excuse. He made his way quickly over to the medic hoping not to lose much time he was in a rush.
"I have come to visit my wounded Corporal" he lied before slowing down to a walk as he made his way to the ward.
David had not revealed his real intentions to the medic. He had been sent to the Hospital by his CO following reports from the special operations executive that a German spy could be lurking among the wounded of the building.
David rounded a corner and strode into a medical ward his dark brown eyes scanned the room for any suspicious activity. He witnessed a soldier desperately pleading with the nurses not to examine his wounded arm which rested in a secure sling.
David moved over towards the group of nurses and listened in on the conversation.
"No it's fine really I can handle the arm I just want a bed and some peace from you" said the soldier angrily.
"It will only take a moment let me see that arm of yours" insisted a young nurse.
"No!" snapped the soldier.
The nurse pointed at an empty bed then retreated out of the ward a puzzled look on her face.
Everyone who had been watching the seen had now gone back to what they were doing but David had remained vigilant and noticed a brief grin creep across the wounded mans face as he lay down in the comfortable bed.
Jack was still thinking about whatr had happend and then he stopped himself and got up. He thought he would be of more help in the ward so he walked through the doors and up to one of the nurse's and asked.
"Is there anything i can do to help you here?"
The nurse thought for a moment the said
"Actually there is that soldure over there won't let anyone look.
He said the next thing without hesitation
"I'll see if I can get him to let me have a look."
He walked over but the man wouldn't let him see he kept struggling every time he tried to look so in the end he gave up and walked away.
He turned to see a familier face and said
"Hi David how are you."

David watched as a medic made his way over to see if the wounded soldier would let him tend to his arm but again the man refuse violently and insisted on being left alone. The medic soon gave up and turned and began walking towards David. Suddenly David recognized the face it was Jack Daniels.
"Hi David how are you" said Jack.
"I'm fine Jack" replied David without taking his eyes off the suspicious wounded soldier.
"I'll see you later Jack I have to go see someone" said David and he quickly walked out of the ward and down a long narrow corridor.
He arrived at the next ward and pushed open the doors the room was filled with conversation and laughter. It was a Sunday the day that people had no work and came to visit their friends and family. David pushed through the crowd scanning each bed for the man he was looking for. He had seen a picture of the man in the briefing and had been told to remember it well.
Suddenly he caught sight of the man and knelled down beside him. The man had spent the last three years in Germany and had only recently returned to the UK. The officers at the briefing knew that to find a German spy a spy would come in handy. David also remembered he would have to give the man a password or he would not speak with him.
David pondered for a while worried he had forgotten the password while the spy stared at him a confused look on his face. Then David remembered the password and got in close to whisper. The password was snow.
"Sierra, November" challenged David.
"Oscar, Whiskey" replied the spy in a slightly German accent as he had spent so long without speaking English he occasionally used a German word instead of an English one accidentally.
"Carefully of your accent you sound like a right Nazi" said David hurriedly.
The spy nodded and said the plan "Ok the plan is simple you keep moving around looking for a Gerry and I'll stay here and pretend I'm wounded".
"Sir I would just like to mention that there is a suspicious soldier in the next ward who's refusing to receive treatment. I think he has a fake injury but whether he's a spy or not is beyond me."
"Ok keep a close eye on him Bevan now move out" said the spy in an over exaggerated German accent.
David walked casually out of the ward and down the same corridor from which he had come and into the first ward.
Jack watched the Sergeant disappear around the corner. He wondered what that was all about.Could he be in a particularly bad mood because of his recruits din rubbish or did he have to do a particularly bad job.As he was still mulling things over in his head the Sergeant walked back through the doors and he turned to the sergeant David looked nervous; shifty even. Jack felt a strange surge of suspicion wash through his body as he observed the Staff Sergeant,he asked
"Is there something wrong David you know you can tell me anything you like i can keep a secret."
He watched David for a while and he thought he looked troubled and under pressure but he wasn't sure.
"David are you OK you can tell me anything you know i won't say a thing to anyone."
He stopped and turned his back to David and stealthily went to try and have another go at looking at that mans arm but as soon as he got to a meter of him he shouted at him to stop.Jack jumped back in surprise as the man lashed out at him with his good arm.He backed away and went to stand by David.
"You know David I don't think there's anything wrong with that guy and he's been acting very strange like he's hiding something but I can't be sure."
He turned to the guy in the bed and returned his icy gaze.
"If you want to tell me anything you can David ."He stopped and stared at David waiting for an answer.

"Shut up" said David loudly causing the conversation in the room to pause momentarily.
"I heard you the first time" David whispered to Jack after the spectators had gone back to their chatter.
David took a deep breath before beginning his story "Intel suggests that German spies are hiding in military hospitals and gaining important information including morale of troops and anything else they can overhear from careless wounded soldiers. I have been sent by my superiors to root out any spys that could be operating in this very building. I think that man with a wounded arm could be a spy with a fake wound and I want your help. Remember this is classified information and if you let anyone know about this I will kill you understood."
David knew that he should not have trusted such top secret information with a Medic but it could be usefully having a member of the medical staff on his side not to mention another pair of eyes and ears.
"Daniels report any suspicious activity to me as I feel there could be more than one spy operating here so watch your back and move out" whispered David.
He had decided not to let Daniels know of the British spy's presence as that could jeopardies the mission greatly if anyone learned of him being in the hospital. David had decided to bring his Browning HP with him incase he was attacked by an enemy infiltrator though he planned to take them alive for interrogation. David reached into his pocket and pulled the firing hammer back on the rear of his Browning. If he flicked off the safety catch he would be able to fire.
Jacks blood tuned cold. If a German spy had managed to infiltrate the field hospital what then? It was hardly the base of Allied operations, but still. There were many brave - wounded - officers recouperating within; what if the said German got to them and finished them off in their sleep? How would anyone know? He was uterly shocked he couldn't beleive that they would let a german in here.He was determaned to get the german so as he walked past the people talking he was listening to see if he heard a slight german acsent. He couldn't hear the slightest german accent but he remained suspicious he hesard a man say
"You'r fine other people need this bead who are seriously indjured."
"No no i'm sure i'm badly hurt but i just want to rest so let me have the bed."He heard the man say.
Suddenly, a new figure entered the vast ward, a nurse in her early twenties, it seemed. Jack vaguely recognised her as a Nurse Katherine Summers, a new member of the medical team who had recently been transferred in from the U.S. Jack has no reason to suspect the American but he guessed he had to start somewhere and seeing as she was the only relative newcomer to the hospital for nearly two months, she was more likely a suspect than the rest of the team. He left to find David and when he found him he whispered in hes ear,
"I think i have found two possibilities exept for the man who won't let anyone look at his arm.And possible the nervous nurse."

David nodded without an answer and gave a brief hand signal for Jack to follow. David walked quickly down the corridor almost braking into a jog as he neared the next ward. He pushed open the doors of the ward and made his way inside scanning the room to find the British spy again. He sighted the familiar face swamped in a crowd of soldiers who had come to pay visits to wounded comrades. David told Daniels to stay by the door then moved over to the British spy.
"Have you spotted any spies"asked David in a whisper.
"Nein" replied the spy casually.
"Nine! I'd better get a move on and find them then called David over his shoulder before moving off quickly towards the doors.
"No David" called the spy but the sound was drowned out by the sea of conversation.
The spy resisted the urge to run after David and inform him of the mix up but he remembered that would blow his cover.
David reached the door and turned to see the nurse Jack had mentioned staring at him but as he turned his head she turned away. David was sure that Daniels was right it was a German spy. He reached Jack and began to whisper to him inconspicuously.
"Dan I think that nurse knows I'm here looking for spies. I must look bloody suspicious. I think she's following us and from what my informant told me there are eight others"whispered David his voice growing louder as he said eight.
Suddenly the nurse began telling the visiting soldiers to leave and within Minuit's they had all left the ward. Three apparently wounded soldiers rose from their beds and walked to the nurses side. There was an awkward silence which seemed to last for an age as the four approached David and Jack. The nurse and one soldier drew compact ppk pistols from ankle holsters and the other drew knives.
"Put your hands in the air and we might let you live"said the nurse who seemed to be in command as her companions raised their weapon threateningly.
David hesitated for a moment before raising his hands. He hoped Jack was doing the same. The spies thinking that the threat had been eliminated began looking around to make sure none had called for help but the ward remained silent.
David took the chance and threw himself to the floor a barrage of PPK rounds cleaved the air where he had just been. He drew his Browning HP like lightning and fired a double tap into each of the two gunweilding soldiers faces. He fired another shot into the leg of the nurse before a German armed with a knife threw himself at Davids legs sending the two crashing to the ground. Davids Browning skidded across the floor for a few meters out of reach as the two fumbled for the knife.
David could just make out the nurse staggering out of the ward. he then noticed the wounded soldier from earlier appear from the corridor behind him. The German rushed over to where the Browning lay and pressed the muzzle against Davids head. David knew he was finished.
Suddenly the German dropped lifelessly to the floor his head leaking blood. David glanced at where the shot had come from and sighted the British spy sitting up in bed a Werlod pistol held firmly in his hands. David reached for his pistol and fired at the knife armed enemy but his wounds prevented him from firing accurately. The German escaped out of the ward the same way as the nurse had seconds before.
David knew he could not afford the enemy's escaping and informing their commanders of the information they had gathered. David attempted to give chase bu fell back to the floor due to his leg being pierced by the knife. the only hope he had of the two enemy's being captured rested with the medic Jack Daniels.
Damnhit the deck as a shot flew past his ear he heard a few shots and when he looked he saw the German nurse run out the door. Then a German spy ran after her. Jack saw that David was in a scuffle and he was about to intervene when he thought of something he had once been told "the mission has priority." So he left his friend on the floor scuffling and ran after the nurse and her friend. He had just gone out the door and they were gone he hung his head down in shame .He was about to go back to help David when he spotted fresh blood on the floor. He new it was the nurse's so he and the way the blood went.He was about to turn the corner when he heard voices up ahead he took a quick look around the corner to see the nurse and her friend going down some stairs he ran after them he found them at the bottom there was a convoy truck waiting for them.He new this was his last chance to get them so he ran out and grabbed the nurse from behind her friend tried to help and managed to kick Jack from behind. He realest the nurse and grabbed the man by the scruff of the neck he hit him hard across the face and he was out cold on the floor. He turned his attention back to the nurse she was getting in the the convoy truck and a man had just got out the man rushed at Jack toppling him. The man was on top of him jack restled with him and managed to get back on top Jack used his elbow and hit him across the face he then grabbed his head and smashed it against the floor he was also down he looked up just in time to see the nurse drive off.
“Damn” he shouted aloud and let out a giant cry in his disappear.
