Rolf wasn't usually a man of prayer, so that's why he was a little astonished at himself for being in a church, and not for attending a friend's wedding or funeral. He had come into the church to pray and reflect on everything that had happened. He was kneeling in the third row pew, a dress uniform on him, and praying very deeply. After praying for some fallen friend, or a friend still fighting, he sat in the pew, and started thinking about the war, what it was doing to him and his country, and about the enemy, right now just the Russians and British, it was 1939, November 8th, 1939, to be exact.
IC: Ludwig had been walking around the town when he caught the sight of a church from the corner of his eye. He looked to the church. "Hell the last time i went in a church i was just a small boy" Ludwig said quitely. He walked toward the front door of the church. He opened it up and walked in wearing his German medical uniform. There was not many people in the church, but the ones who were there looked to Ludwig walking in. Ludwig nodded to the few people in there. He watched as they went back to looking down and praying. Ludwig walked to the third row pew. He saw a Stabsgefreiter kneeling and praying. Ludwig took off his military cap and placed it on the bench. He knelt down beside the stabsgefreiter. "Stabsgefreiter, how is the praying coming along?" Ludwig asked. Ludwig stared to the stabsgefreiter's face, well what he could see of his face. Ludwig put his head down and his hands he folded. He started to pray and was done within twenty five seconds. He stood up and put his cap back on. He than put on leather gloves of his.

OCC: I know, that's why it's November
IC: Rolf was startled out of his reflection by a Sanitätsunteroffizier coming into the pew next to him, and asking him how the prayer was going. He wasn't expecting someone to talk to him. Rolf has to think about his answer for a moment. "Uh, well, uh, I would say that my uh, prayer was uh, going ok, I guess. It had a uh, relieving effect that prayer uh, usually has." Rolf shrugged. "How was your prayer going?"
