It was a peaceful summers day in England, the birds in the trees, the sun out, pheasants and other birds were hanging around on the roads, it was so peaceful – not for long.
”Woo!” shouting was heard from down the lane, a motorcar was speeding down the road towards the vehicle garage, it was an American jeep, three soldiers from American dissent where in it, being idiots…
Two in the front and one in the back, a Corporal and two privates all shouting and whooping as the thing hurtled at full speed, making a racket as it went, they turned the corner sharply and nearer crashed into an English truck as it came slowly down the road towards them, ”Get out the way Tommy!” shouted one of the privates, laughing at the driver as he flashed past.
”Oi, Joe, we shouldn’t be doing this you know.” came the other private who was clinging to the back seat in slight terror and fear.
”Shut up Sanderson, we need to let these lovely British people that we’re here, anyway, if we get in trouble, I’ll cover ya.” the Corporal shouted back as they hurtled round another corner, the vehicle garage came into view rather quickly.
”STOP JOE, STOP!” the two privates shouted as the jeep picked up speed and didn’t seem to be slowing anytime soon.
”I’LL STOP WHEN WE GET THERE!” Joe shouted back, grinning and gripping the wheel and steadying the car, it hit the edge of the road and bumped, shocking all three men.
”Shit, didn’t mean that to happen.” Joe said, his voice held slight fear, ”Joe, are you going to stop or are we going to have to make you?” came Sanderson, ”Cause I really don’t want to die because of a stupid accident.”
The jeep came crashing into the yard and hurtled through, sending people flying out of the way, ”SORRY!” Joe shouted at the frightened engineers as the car headed towards a building which had an American flag flying high – the American cars were kept here – Screeching to a halt outside the building, Joe and the two privates jumped out of the car, staggering slightly then collapsing into hysterics, ”God that was bloody fun!” Joe said, leaning against the car and whipping a tear from his eye.
