Darkness....that it all that Eckhard saw as he layed on the ground, and a few moments later light had came into the picture. Now someone was kneeling beside him doing something... His vision was now slowly coming to, through his eyes eveything around him was in a blur. Eckhard raised his head as he sqintted at the figure before him, noticing it was a person he grabbed him by his collar and tried to choke the living hell out of him.
"Hören Sie es auf! Beruhigen Sie sich ich soll Ihnen hier helfen!" the guy sputtered out. Eckhard then sqintted more closely at the person and by seeing the red cross on the guys helment, he noticed he was a medic and had let him go. "Herr... Ich brauche, dass Sie sich dazu hinlegten, Sie sind auf dem Angriff verwundet worden. Ihre Mannschaft hatte Sie dem Feldkrankenhaus zurückgebracht"
"Verwundet?" Eckhard thought, he then sat up and looked down at his body and stopped at his legs. There was a bandage raped around his calf which was marked in his own blood. Eckhard looked around him, noticing that mostly all the wounded men were in his company. He then spotted a man laying down on a colt, noticing the person's face anywhere and it was his SS-Unterscharführer.
The medic had noticed that Eckhard was staring at a dead body so he looked at the tag and said "Das ist SS-Unterscharführer Politur, er brachte zwei Kugel in den Kopf. Der ein durch sein Auge der andere ging gerade zu seinem Gehirn.". The soldier then paused to look at the state that the dead body was in. He then countinued, "Wir konnten nicht in sein Gehirn kommen, so ist die Kugel noch in dort, waren wird ihn zurück nachhause Morgen verladen. Mit der Ruhe der Kerle."
Eckhard thoughts had then drifted to his squad of men, A and B company had left for battle. So Eckhard would have to go in with C company, he jumped up and turned to the medic. "Waren sind meine Waffe he said looking under a near by table. "Ich werde gehen bekommen es" said the medic as he walked halfway across the medical tent. He had returned a few moments later with a Mauser Karbine 98k rifle.
Eckhard then took his rifle and ran out the tent, he looked around and faced the nearest soldier to him. "Soldat, waren ist C Gesellschaft?" Eckhard said, "Gehen Sie da unten, und Sie werden sie sehen laden und für den folgenden Angrif auf den verbündeten Hügel ausziehen." the soldier replied as he pointed behind him. Eckhard dashed down the road to a halftrack that was getting ready to move out.
Eckhard ran to the front of the car and to the driver that was about enter the halftrack. "SS-Rottenfüh Eckhard Von Fusel, die Frage, um sich Ihrem Trupp anzuschließen" Eckhard said. The driver stared at him for a moment and yelled "Haben wir mehr Zimmer zurück dort?, then from a voice that came from the truck said "Ja! Wir haben Zimmer für einen mehr!". Eckhard then went to the back of the truck and hopped in.
Then the truck started moving, Eckhard thought about how well that medic had healed his leg. He wasn't feeling any pain at all which made him think about how long he was past out. After about a good 15 minutes passed the first bullet was fired at the halftrack. The gunner started firing a few rounds of the MG42 that he mained. When the truck came to a stop a voice yelled "Gehen Sie!" then the halftrack door opened and the men poured out.
Eckhard came out and ran towards a gravestone and took cover behind it. His surroundings were made up of gravestones and pass it is a hill with the allied headquarters. Half of the graveyard was held by the allied soldiers and the other half by the axis, which was pushing the allied back. Eckhard came out of coverand raised his rifle shoulder height, and fired three shots at a allied soldier that was taking cover behind a gravestone.
Eckhard then advanced forward to another gravestone and opened fire on other allied soldier. This was taking to long so Eckhard signaled seven men to follow him to flank the allied position's. Eclhard and his men moved left out of sight and advance foward. Stoping once in a while to open fire on the allied soldiers from the side. The SS soldiers were now at the bottom of the hill and was planing to attack the allied base soon.
The SS soldiers were now surrounding the hill so the american soldiers could not exscape. Eckhard and the rest of C company were waiting for the given orders to take the hill, while they waited him and some men played a game of cards. Then they were told to gear up because they were to take the hill in a half an hour. When the time came the first wave of there forces were released at the allies. After 15 minutes of gun fighting the second wave was relased.
Eckhard was in the third wave which was going along with the second wave to completely destroy the allies. But when they were close enough to the hill a rocket was fired at them from the allied base. A lot of the SS soldiers were hit, causing the rest to spread out. On the hill it was nothing to take cover with so being out in the open Eckhard shouted at the men, telling them to push forward. By the way the americans acted, they wasn't expecting this because some of the SS troops made it into the base and was pushing the allies out.
Eckhard aimed his rifle at a american soldier that was visible through a window on the second floor. Eckhard fired three shots which all slammed into the soldiers back, causing him to drop out of view. The rest of the allies were either dead or was captured while trying to run. The SS have offically taken the hill, there mission complete.
