Sweat poured from his neck into his uniform, it felt like snakes crawling into him. He held the man in his arms, who was barely conscious, Theodore walked with the man's arm around his shoulder. He mumbled to himself as he walked swearing that he had to do something which would waste his time as this. But than again the fallen corporal was one of his best mates, they fought together which had already created an unspoken bond between them. Theodore had it with all his mates in the field whether they returned the feeling of help and kindness to not. He could hear that the man's breathing was getting harder and harder. He walked through the grassy areas outside his camp, he was also slightly disappointed that one other private ran away after seeing the bleeding wound of the man.
Well truly no one could be blamed for his current condition. A few men, which to be exact was Theodore and two other soldiers. Since they weren't needed anywhere they all slipped out for a walk talking about stuff mostly about women. Stupid idiot was not looking while talking so Theodore knew the man had no one to blame but himself. Thinking to himself thoroughly he remembered the man's name, Edwards something. One of the reasons he probably remembered his name was that Edward was his middle name too. Although nobody except the one's who looked at his records knew he was Theodore Barker. Nothing more, nothing less. He entered the barracks to have offers of help which he shook off. I got this alright! He's fine, i'm taking to get him checked up.
Luckily for him the camp's hospital was not far away from the entrance. He limped to the destination with the man hanging on his arm, Theodore could feel his clutch on his arm from Edward getting looser and looser which then he reinforced with his other arm. He himself never actually came into the hospital at the camp before. He looked at the blood marks on the man's head wondering if this was serious or not. At least he hoped he himself would not get in any trouble for this.
For all Theodore knew he tripped on a rock and landed on a bigger one. He grinned as he realized the man was stuck between a rock and a hard place, literally. When he arrived hospital attendants helped him take him on a makeshift bed in the camp. So can I have a someone who knows something here or what? He got a little worried as he looked at the man breathing harder a little. Sweat poured from his own glands, leaking more. He sat down on the chair beside the bed relaxing himself. Although he was sure the hospital attendants went to fetch a doctor he waited impatiently, being a pessimist himself, he scared the little un' there with the worst cast scenario's that normally happens in the military. He tried to occupy himself with the conversation but thoughts of disaster crept into his mind. Would the man survive? Would he live to see the rise of another sun? Or was he the lucky one...
