OOC: Lmao thats sooo funny
Daniel was tired. He had been separated from the rest of his unit while going on a mission to retrieve some documents from the resistance and then they had been ambushed. First a Messerschmidt 109 had flown right ever them and straffed the road they were walking on. Then two MG42s which were hidden beside the road, had oppened fire on them and they had all ran in different directions across the countryside.
Daniel wondered what had happened to the rest of his squad. None had been killed by the machine guns but a lot of them were probably captured. He heard a strange whiny up over the hill. There picketed right beside the road was a huge chestnut colored Mare. Daniel had lived in the countryside when he was younger so he knew the basics of horse riding, but he hadn't ridden in ages.
Quickly checking to see if the owner was around Daniel made to jump up on the horse, but ended up jumping into the horse and hurting his nose. Daniel then decided to get on in a less dramatic way and he got on ok. He pulled his bayonet for the Lee Enfield and hacked at the rope that the horse was tied to. He then set off down the road ...
After an hour of riding Daniel came to a ruined village. He could here a convorsation in English going on just up ahead. He flicked the reins with one hand and held the rifle with the other and then trotted up to the two figures ...
Stephen stood there, slightly shocked and then realized that the man needed help, but then he could be able to run away. He smirked to himself and backed away from the horse, the man on top and the Jap.
He could run away and find British troops, get back to England and be home again, but then he wouldn't have his horse. "I think sir, that you need a lesson in horse mangement." he said grinning.

Daniel pulled the horse back a bit from the man it had nearly trampled and Daniel was shocked to see that he had ran into a German. He stared at the man on the ground for a few seconds then he noticed that other man was wearing an English uniform. He grinned at the man and called out "Hey there, Tommy" Then he turned his attention back to the German, "You Get off the ground, give me your weapons and then put your hands on your head" he snapped.
Daniel realised that he needed to get off the damn horse if he wanted to be in control, and with dificulty he slid off his horse. He pointed the gun at the German and shouted "Didn't you hear me before?Get UP" he then prodded the man with his foot.

Lying on his back, Naga took his time gazing at the red, red sky. He knew it might be soon that Mr. Death fetched after him and rather than obeying orders, as he normally did all his life, he just stared listlessly on the moving cloud.
Of course, if the corporal knew, a typical Japanese soldier will not go down without a fight so when the private felt a foot jabbed at his chest, his hands unconsciously tightened their grip over the soldier’s leg pulling him down to the ground while Naga wrestled himself to the top and pinned down his enemy.
“What did you say? So sorry I could not hear you,” he gave an infuriated smirk taking one hand on the collar as the other stiffened to a fist and clenched it down to the other man’s neck choking him as the supposed self-defense lesson he learned throughout his childhood.

Stephen stopped backing away and watched, "DON'T!" he shouted, running at the Jap and trying to get him off the Irish man, "Don't hurt him you bast**d!" he said, looking at the Jap, then realized what he had done.
He backed away, he grabbed the horses reins smoothing the horse lightly.

OOC: you cant kill me off!!
Daniel felt the hand grab his leg and he tried to pull away but to no avail. The damn Jap had managed to pull him down. Then when he felt the fist close in around his neck, he started struggling for all he was worth. He tried to roll over but the Jap was too heavy, He tried punch him but his hands were pinned down underneath his body. Then he had an idea. He used all his strength to bring his knee up and ram it between the other mans legs.
Daniel jumped up off the ground and grabbed his rifle. Then he ran about ten metres down the road and dived behind a mound of rubble, all the time expecting to hear the sound of a gun and expecting the feeling of a bullet entering him. Where is that Englishman gone? he thought to himself. Then he leaned to one side and quickly fired three shots down the street. crack, Twist, slide. crack, twist, slide. crack, twist slide. Daniels hands were shaking so much that the shots didn't even come within metres of the enemy. He gulped when he realised that he had no more time to reload his weapon. He looked around one more time and then retreated back into a sidestreet
EDIT: Incase this causes any confusion I would like to note that i have not retreated from the battle, I have only retreated off the main street..
Alright Ladies, looks like you’ve had quite a bit of a fast-paced thread… More so, it’s now turned into a combat situation, so please pace yourself (slow down) a little and prepare for some Mod Posts on the situation unravelling.
This is a realistic Board - so please don’t make any vast’ judgements with your character, for you CAN die on this board. -Grins-
Allied Effect:[/b]
Private Colly: Remains Unarmed &Within Enemy Range. (Practically a P.O.W)
Corp. Brennan: Successful in making a dashing escape, Corp. Brennan’s bullets did indeed inaccurately miss, but either from Irish Luck or Pot-Luck one of the shots did zip across Naga’s Left-hand; causing a minor Flesh wound.
Axis Effect:[/b]
Private Warasaki: Partially wounded, Naga’ remains with a English P.O.W and successful in panicking the enemy into a small retreat.

OOC: Hope it isn't too late to join.
The brisk evening air was no different than it had been the previous four days and the sky hadn't changed too much either. McMillan had been thinking about seeing the country side for a couple of weeks now but had never really gotten around to it. He decided that it was a change of pace that he needed. As he was leaving the barracks he noticed a familiar face, it was an old buddy of his that joined the military at about the same time, he was just eighty pounds and some change lighter than back then. They had run across each other a couple of times before the war broke out but never had much time to do anything more than catch up. "Well I'll be. Is that you Bobby?"
The other gentleman was slightly older and had a little bit of gray hair starting to show on his head. He had just ridden up on a bicycle, nothing pretty just something to go from A to B. "Mac!! Wow, small world buddy, how's life?" Truth was that everyone knew how life was, busy, with small amounts of boredom and excitement mixed in. Bobby didn't really have time to chat, in about thirty seconds he would be late for his meeting. "Actually I'm running behind, would you like to grab a cup of joe later on?" He said as he was headed for the same door that McMillan had just stepped out of.
"That sounds good to me. Hey you wouldn't mind if I borrowed your bike for a spell would you?" He could barely finish the question before his friend wave at him in a 'go away' type motion and told him to have at it. It had been a very long time since he had been on a bicycle but he remember what everyone says about it. After a short period he stopped wobbling and picked up a little speed. "So this is how he lost that weight." The seat was worn out almost completely which didn't make for the most comfortable ride but it was faster than walking.
He had gone quite a distance without seeing pretty much anything and then out of nowhere he noticed a plane that had crashed in the distance. He would have gone to investigate but he noticed a set of footprints leading further down the road. Whilst trailing the unknown pilot he heard a little bit of gunfire. "Well this seems like just my luck, I try to get away from it for just a minute and I end up heading straight into it. Well better at least check it out, don't want to get in over my head though. Ain't like I have buddies with me or anything."
He stopped his bike right at the edge of some debris and laid it down, firmly taking a grip on his rifle. He noticed a very odd group of individuals, one of them being a horse. "Takes all kinds I guess." He figured that the unarmed man belonged to the prints that lead him here since the German didn't look like a pilot. McMillan stayed low in a good sized pile of rubble trying to get a handle on what was happening. He had heard the gunfire but didn't really know who had been shooting at who. He did know that he needed to render assistance to the pilot none the less.
Naga could not believe he let the soldier get away, not to mention he procured a hit from the enemy’s reckless firing. Taking a rip off his tattered uniform, the private sighed with a weary face as he made a makeshift wrap on his bleeding arm. Would today be his last day? He turned to look on the Colly boy and the horse that gave him a dumb expression. Probably. With these two with me I might as well walked to an open fire. He frowned and returned a blank look on the young man. Good thing the annoying gun shots stopped. Give me at least a minute to find a cover. Take that back. Less than a minute.
Naga squinted his eyes leaning forward to see who that wobbly figure is. It didn’t take him long to figure it out because a reflecting glint on the Lee Enfield told him all he needed to know.
Just my luck. He bit his lips as he took a quick sprint towards his Kar and the prisoner he came to recruit. I’m surrounded. Three…make that two…Allied soldier to be up and against.
The pebbles stumbled off the mound creating loud crackle as he took a run on each step, but covert mission was not what he had to take on this instant so he could not care less at being discrete. He smiled when his fingers found the cold touch of his artillery and while he swung it back Naga jabbed Stephen on the stomach loosening the British off his grip on the horse’s rein so that he could take the boy to fall in the gap within the rubble heap.
“Stay silent, kid. You don’t know how bad our position is,” the private muttered under panting breath.
Naga nudged his head sideway holding the Mauser Karbine precariously on his arm to adjust his aim on the soldier on a bike hiding behind a pile of rubble in the distance. When the time felt right for him, he released the shot.
Bang!
Smoke filtered his eyes as he breathed in the putrid smell, but rather than coming over to check on his target’s well being, the private slid back down, his shoulders against the rubble, satisfied to find himself staring eye-to-eye on the P.O.W. soldier across him.
Naga feared during the brief period of his aim, the earlier foe, the corporal, might fire from behind making certain he would have been done for. Oh well. If that happened, that happened. Naga gave a jaded smile on the Colly boy and reloaded his firearm, ready with a second shot.
“Too bad we cannot eat together before we die,” his voice detached as if speaking to no one in particular when his stomach grumbled loudly.

thud, thump, thud, thump That was the sound of Daniel's panicked footsteps as he ran down the allyway from the german soldier. He had taken right turn then a left then another left and he had no idea where he was. Then up-ahead he saw the main road again. exellent, if a follow the main road then I will finaly be able to get back to our frontlines again he thought happily to himself. He grinned, then he walked the few remaining steps to the road and he peeked out. What he saw nearly made him groan outloud.
There a few steps in front of him was an American soldier, but there about twenty metres away down the road was that damn German soldier again. But this time he was holding his gun and aiming it right at the allied soldier. Daniel didn't even think before he shouted out "Oi! You there get over here quickly" and in case that didn't work, Daniel had run out and grabbed his fellow soldier before diving into the side-street again.
Daniel landed face down in the dust. He couldn't tell whether he had beem shot because of all the addrenelin running through his body he slowly got up I dont think I've been shot he thought to himself. But what of the American soldier? The other soldier was lying on the ground just beside him. Daniel ran over to check was he OK ........

Stephen felt his arms loose the horse's reins and fell to the floor, he looked up at the Jap, he fell silent, looking up at the horse. The first shot went off, didn't hit him....good. He waited for the second but it didn't come, watching the Jap he stood up, going towards the horse again.
"If you kill me, don't hurt this horse." he said staring at the Jap, if you do...." he shock his head, kissed the horse on the nose and then looked back at the Jap, hated in his eyes.

Oh Daniel… Daniel… Daniel… -Tuts- You know this board is realistic -Tuts some more- Anyhow, I’ll ignore that small god-mode, just make sure you don’t make any irrational moves like that again, in a sense, sprinting across an rugged open piece of terrain to ‘Control/Move’ someone else’s character. Not just that, but you totally wrote out Naga’s Action…
I may instate a mod posting order… But that basically means this thread will become mega slow and it causes me more work - something I don’t want at the moment. So PLEASE, slow down, one at time (as you have done) and allow people’s actions to be modded. You should always take precautions after every post… Such as, state what defence your character has. I’m sure in real life, you wouldn’t stand in the open and fire without ducking afterwards from any retaliations.
Allied Effect:[/b]
First Sergeant McMillan: Yet to Fire - but from heroic and somewhat a clumsy action by fellow Comrade Daniel Brennan, First Sergeant McMillan was hauled into the line-of-sight by the spiralling bullet, enduring a MINOR flesh wound across the thigh.
(Sorry you’re already wounded, I’m just playing by the rules of what would happen in a real life situation - if this occurred)
Corporal Brennan: As Daniel Brennan made his irrational dash along the cobbled and gritted path, sprinting, Corp. Brennan accidentally twisted his ankle in the process, causing a searing pain to emit down his hamstring. Nothing major, but Corp. Brennan is now immobilized from sprinting and fast running for the remainder of this thread.
Private Colly: * Remains a P.O.W*
Axis Effect:[/b]
Private Warasaki: Surprisingly, pulling off a single shot and wounding a senior NCO slightly, Naga Warasaki’s rifle skills prove to be worthy or perhaps sheer luck?
* Naga’s wounded hand (left hand) has also began to bleed preciously onto his Rifle, causing the Butt-End to become slippery.

“Get back down here!” Naga motioned with his wounded arm a harsh gesture of pointing to the ground. His tongue parched because of the intake of smoke he breathed out of the recent shot that his voice croaked raspy almost barely audible to hear.
The private could not believe what the young man did. Did he not know how exposed he is by standing there in the line of fire with his horse? And what is wrong with the horse? Naga pondered; eyebrows meshed together. A normal horse cared not to stick around after bullets whisked past it. No. It probably galloped elsewhere knowing the dangers of the current situation.
Stupid horse. Might as well die after what you did to me.
“Boy, be reasonable. I know you hate me, but don’t hold me responsible for whatever happened to you,” the private muttered clenching his Kar too tightly from frustration he had to face. He returned the Allied soldier an apathetic look turning away awhile later to slink past down in the cover of the rubble.
First the Allies cornered me. Now this. I swear I can shot the kid off and be done with. He slammed his fist to the side letting lose the wall of stones to rain debris on the dirt floor. Pain struck a chord as he did so as his gash reopened soaking the dirtied bandage in blood. Three small droplets outlined on the ground; and Naga fixing his eyes on them breathed heavy and tensed his grip to reduce the surge of flow.
Time stood to a standstill, and Naga paused to watch Stephen Colly staying close to the brown mare. He swayed the Kar over his shoulder with the unwounded arm and pointed its tip in between the young British and the two Allies he presumed hidden near the side street where the private knew he could aim at either one or the others.
“Allies. This has been a long day for me, and I don’t intend to stick around and play with you ladies to my death,” he teased however in a tense and serious manner, “Here’s a bargain. Shoot me and I shoot this boy (Stephen). Hey you got a two in one deal. Nice, huh?”

McMillan noticed an Allied soldier running straight towards him. He didn't know he wasn't alone but this was nice to know that they had a slight advantage. The soldier moved in an odd way. "Must be injured." He muttered to himself. He couldn't figure out for the life of him why the allied corporal was running towards him. As he came closer McMillan got the growing feeling that this one hadn't seen to much combat. "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING!!!" McMillan was totally taken off guard when the Corporal grabbed him away from his cover.
ZIP
"AHH! Son of a... You have got to be kidding me!" McMillan exclaimed full of astonishment and pain. He couldn't help but think of the combination of his odd luck and the apparent good luck of the German soldier that met right across his thigh. He knew that would slow him up in all kinds of ways. "Doesn't look like I will be riding that bike too much on the way back to the...." His speech was stalled as he turned his attention to the allied soldier that liked to play hero. "Wow, this doesn't surprise me, the only assistance I've got at the moment isn't going to be moving much either." He murmured to himself.
"What are you doing!!" He exclaimed in wonderment. "I think we stand a better chance against a single foe if we use our numbers to our advantage. Don't get me wrong I didn't know that you were here and I am glad to know that there is more of us than there are of them but I don't think the two of us in the same position helps us at all in this situation." He was working on a plan the entire time he was talking and thought he had a pretty good one thought up when the German soldier started yelling at them.
A two in one deal. This one had some testicular fortitude, they were brass no doubt about it. The German didn't look too tough, physically anyway but this is not the time to do anything stupid or to make assumptions. A bullet does pretty good damage to anyone, doesn't matter how fit they are. "Corporal if you're up to it we have to get a better handle on the situation. It won't take much on your part, well at least not yet, depending on that Kraut. Can you stay in this general area, you know so you don't have to move much with your injury, and just take an occasional shot at him. Make sure to keep your shooting lane away from the allied soldier that seems to be in love with that horse, but try to get a few close enough to keep the Krauts head down and to keep him from moving much. Can you do that?" He knew there probably wasn't much time before escape was going to start looking really nice to the enemy down the street so this idea sounded good enough to buy more time for a better one. "I'm gonna try to maneuver my way down the backside of all this rubble and razed buildings and get a better shot at this guy. I'm hoping your fire will distract him enough that he won't notice me." He pulled out his handkerchief and wrapped it around his thigh to slow the bleeding, nothing fancy, just enough to get the job done and waited for the Corporal's reply. "Can you do that? By the way the name is McMillan."

Daniel looked up at the angry, shouting sergeant above him. He didn't have a clue what had happened to him. One second he had been fine, then he had gone crazy and completley lost it. What the hell had he done? He was more embarrased then he had ever been in his life and it looked like the man was injured too!
He groaned to himself and sat up, squinting at the other soldier in the dimly lit allyway, "I'm sorry sir, I dont know what came over me there. I just ... Panicked!. Daniel looked down at the ground. Then, a few seconds later he pulled himself off the hot, dry earth and he looked the sergeant in the eye, "I really am sorry for the problems I have put you through sir and I will make it up to you by doing whatever you tell me"
Daniel was now standing up fully. Ignoring the pain in his ankle which suggested that it was twisted, he grabbed his rifle and pulled five bullets out of his ammo pouch and proceded to load his gun. Then, he bent down and brushed the dust off his kaiki clothes.
Daniel was surprised at how the sergeant had changed his tone from angry to normal so quickly he listened carefuly to what he had to say. They were good tactics, and the man was clever to have already noticed that he was injured. Daniel nodded when the man finished his orders, "Yes sir, They are good orders and I will carry them out! and I'm Corporal Daniel Brennan by the way".
Daniel turned and backed away down the ally and when he was about thirty metres in, He stopped and looked to the plain white dormer house beside him it should provide a clear shot to the German from one of its upper windows. He tried the handle of the door and it opened with just a little squeky protest from its hinges. Inside it was dusty ... Very, very dusty, It looked like it had been abandoned since the start of the war!
Daniel walked further into the hallway and started climbing up the dusty stairs. His feet were definatly the first to step up them in years, but it looked like someone had sprayed the house with an MG42 or somthing because there was a lot of bullet holes in the wall to his right. At the top of the stairs there was a window just where he wanted it to be, facing out on the street in the general direction that the German was. He could just see the German down the street but it was far away so his shots wouldn't have a very good chance of hitting him. But the sergeant had only said to keep him occupied anyway. Daniel looked back out the window again and could see that even with his aim, It would be almost impossible to hit the English captive on the horse. Daniel lowere his gun on to the windowledge and quickly fired off five shots, Crack, twist, slide. crack, twist, slide. crack, twist, slide. crack, twist, slide.crack, twist slide. Then he ducked down again and ran down the stairs because, A. He needed to reload, and B. The man might have a grenade.
OOC- I really hope that this post is better than last time!
