This thread seems to be going one-sided slightly and people don't seem to be getting a chance to post, because of my requirement on asking for people to reframe from posting until action/s have been marked. So from now on, once a mod-post has been made, the next person to post will be written at the bottom of the Mod-Mark post.

If that person doesn't make an action that requires marking - than you may continue to post yourself without waiting. Hope everyone is following? Otherwise, i'll insert a posting order and trust me, that would slow this thread down incredibly and i wouldn't want that to happen.

The Following Actions have been made;

[li] Firing multiple shots (from the bolt-action rifle), Friedrich's bullets shattered what was left of the frail window and grazed the window-frame. With such narrow consistancy and distance between the two buildings for the bullets to travel - none of them appropriately made any lethal contact.

[/li][li] One bullet however, did break on inpact and slit a small cut across SGT. Brennan's neck.

The wall came in with tremendous force, shoving Daniel back a few paces into the doorway. He was about to run over and see if his allies had been hurt, when a bullet from across the farmyard clipped the side of his neck. He grunted and fell to the floor. He put his hand up behind his ear and felt the wound; it wasn’t too deep. He brought his up to his face and saw only a small bit of blood. Only a minor wound, just a scratch. He looked up and saw that the lieutenant was still alive, although he could see no sign of his companion. Daniel pushed himself to his feet and his hand fell to the grenade at his chest as he did so. They probably wouldn’t be expecting a grenade to come right back at them. He walked over to the hole in the wall, trying to keep out of view of both parties of soldiers.

He pulled the pin on the grenade, held it for a second, before tossing it over towards the farmhouse. But that would do nothing about the people at the other side of the yard. He hoisted up his weapon and then, with his back to the wall, he shuffled over to the doorway. He got the barrel pointing at the right height, and then he leaned out the doorway and fired about ten rounds at the other building. He tried to steady his machine gun; he tried to make every shot count. That should keep them busy for at least a short while. He ran over to the other side of the room to check that Collins was still alright under the table.

” I’m fine!” The injured man coughed back at him. Daniel walked over to the lieutenant, keeping out of site of the windows. ”What are we supposed to do now sir?” He asked. They were trapped. If they tried to run back the way they came, they would probably be picked off. The only thing Daniel could think of was for them to stay here. But they would be overwhelmed in an instant if German reinforcements came. He really didn’t know what to do. Hopefully the officer would know what to do.

• Successfully throwing a grenade, but failing to infiltrate the grenade into the adjacent building, the following actions have been made from the explosion;
  
  Remember, this building is wooden:
  
  - Blowing a good size hole, the grenade has shattered a full length hole of the barn’s wall, sending splinters and stray spikes of wood into the midst of the air.
  - NPC Gerwulf has suffered a heavy collision to the head from a heavy piece of wood, knocking him unconscious temporarily, until further instructed of his recovery - meaning, this unit is currently vulnerable, but not dying.
  - CPT. Wolfram has suffered a heavy wound to his thigh, as a long strand of wood had impaled into his leg, but has not suffered any other major shrapnel wounds from the explosive exploding outside of the barn.
  
  
• Making a volley of fire, the bullets failed to accurately hit the enemy, but has supplied another suppressive bout' of fire.

• NPC PVT. Collin’s morphine is wearing off and will pass unconscious within the next post made by Daniel Brennan - to avoid this unit dying, a medical kit or retreat is required real soon.

The explosion had rocked the wooden barn, a bale of hay within imploding somewhat as fragments and pieces of hay shimmered through the midst of the warm air, followed by the sharp hail of splinters raining and colliding like a deadly sleet of bad weather, mixed with the pungent smell of the dry dead Earth.

Hauptmann Wolfram had been sent backwards during the blast, his body twisting and his hands making rough work of trying to protect his face. The MP40 clumsily thumping against his torso as his body hit the ground with a loud thump, the weak floorboards beneath him creaking weakly and the sound of falling debris cascading all around littered the area. Rocks, wood, clumps of hard dry Earth - all thumping and scuttling around his weak and sprawled body on the ground, almost afraid to move encase he’d be met dead on the other end of the enemy’s iron-sights.

Slowly, the Hauptmann raised his head quietly, his Officer’s hat falling from off his head and the hard ringing noise toeing through his eardrums. His vision briefly began distorted, but soon enough rectified it’s self, whilst his short blonde hair cascaded to the fragments of dirt and stone trapped between the strands. His body tensed ever so slightly, feeling the brisk breeze of the outside blow inwards into the barn, a new fresh hole impaled into the side of the weak structure… Weakly, Hauptmann Wolfram coughed against the floorboards his head rested, before gaining enough strength to push his palms against the flooring to raise himself slowly, just about to draw his knee up beneath himself when a searing pain cut through his body, causing the Hauptmann to let out a slight cry of agony, his teeth gritting to try and subside the feeling of something jagged slit into the flesh of his leg.

Muttering incoherent words to himself, the Hauptmann couldn’t bare to look back at his leg, but his eyes did however catch sight of poor Gerwulf laying limp and strewn across the floor a matter of feet away. “Gerwulf… Gerwulf!”[/I] the Hauptmann cried out to his subordinate, but no reply came, just the heavy heaving on the soldier’s chest, which meant he must’ve been unconscious from the explosion. Dragging his arms up to his front, Hauptmann Wolfram balanced his MP40 across his biceps and began to ruggedly drag himself along the gritted floor of dirt and splinters, uttering out a soft cry beneath his breath each time his leg jolted to the pain. Fighting through the pain barrier, the Hauptmann eventually reached Gerwulf’s body, leaning onto him slightly to look over him; feeling for a quick pulse, as if to make sure he was still worth salvaging, Rafael took a quick glance down his body and made sure the subordinate didn’t have any other wounds.

Twisting onto his back, Hauptmann Wolfram dragged his injured leg into place, hissing through his teeth from the pain, before yanking his arm up towards the wall, clutching into the window-ledge in an effort to drag himself closer to the window. He knew if he didn’t open fire or retaliate soon, the enemy would advance onto his position, presuming the grenade had killed or injured them badly, that could perhaps give them leeway in finishing them off. Grunting, the Hauptmann pulled himself up enough to lean his elbows against the window ledge, strafing his MP40 off towards the adjacent building in a quick spray of fire - all he could do now, was pray his other soldiers done some damage or made it too him…

• Firing a quick spray of bullets towards the adjacent building, the bullets ripped and chinked away at the adjacent building's wall; one of them successfully cutting through Daniel Brennan's canteen & torso side (minor flesh wound).

Seeing the explosion made Max's training make him fear the worst, it had ripped a whole in a wall of the barn and littered the inside with splinters and dust. this, in turn had most likely injured if not killed Captain Wolfram and Gerwulf. taking the initiative Max decided that to keep cover fire up he told Friedrich to shoot at the Rangers, it didn't matter which, just to keep then in cover while he reloaded so that the Captain would have a chance at resisting long enough that he could recover and him and Gerwulf could find some more cover so that they would be safe so that the where not captured, or worse, killed, this is because, even though Captain Wolfram can be a bit strict at times, he was always in the thick of the fighting with the solders and not just ordering them what to do like ordinary Captains, and frankly, he did not want a different commanding officer.

then, to give covering fire for the Captain, leveling his rifle onto the window ledge he aimed at the ranger sergeant and fired. pulling back the bolt he fired four more shots before realizing that his magazine was empty and ducked down into cover to reload.

OOC: Sorry if the map's a little confusing. Both mine and Max's posts are meant to con inside together, so he starts to fire on them just after my falorn attack ends.


Friedrich disliked taking instructions from his inferiors, but at least this one was good one. He raised his rifle, but then let in drop as another idea came to him. They had to finish this fast, then pull back and get Wolfram back to safety asap. The idea he had in mind might have appeared to be madness in the eyes of any Wehrmacht men, but, in Friedrich’s eyes, the situation was now do or die.

His weapon still loaded, Friedrich slowly stood up and looked across the courtyard through the hole that served as a door. No shots where coming from the twisted heap that once severed as the barn; another worrying prospect. The Corporal took in a deep breath and moved before he had a chance to rethink. Carefully and quietly side stepping, he crossed the open ground at a crouch. Hopefully the rangers’ ears were now so deafened after playing “toss the grenade”, any sound Friedrich did make would be inaudible.

He closed on the central building’s eastern window, and ducked even lower, below the height of the windowsill. When he was directly under it, Friedrich raised himself up, peaking through the dirt clod glass. In the far corner was one ranger, appearing worse for wear, while next to him was another, hard to tell how he was feeling. Friedrich glanced to both sides of the windows, the right being clear, but in the left a man slumped in the corner, a large red patch showing through his fatigues.

Taking in a deep breath, Friedrich raised his weapon and smashed the butt in to the centre of the window. It imploded inwards, sending glass flying threw the air. He swung the rifle round and then leaned slightly inwards. He fired one shot at point blank range towards the slumped and immobile man. Drawing back the bolt as he turned, he sent a second bullet off at the first of the two rangers, still at close range. Once again he pulled back the bolt and put yet another bullet at second ranger.

“Für mein Führer!” he bellowed, and started to run backwards, firing off two last rounds blindly. He then threw his arms over his face and dived towards the stony ground. As he hit hard, he twisted over. Scrambling over to the wall, he placed his back up against it, and jammed another five shots home. Ten shots already? He questioned himself, trying to calm down. Friedrich glanced down at his left hand, which was supporting the Mauser. It was shaking.

Okay, looks like we’ve got some action-men in this thread. Can I remind those with Bolt Action Rifles that it’s an average of around 5 rounds a clip and continuous firing with them is simply impossible? I will only accept a max 4 to 5 shots, given good haste and speed in reloading; meaning, your accuracy will have decreased immensely from doing so… Firing 10 shots… Just begs to be differed with.

Please keep your actions realistic, continuous unrealistic actions made by members will result in consequences. So don’t keep trying it. Thank you!

• Firing a whole clip hastily towards the enemy, PVT. Maximilian’s shots Failed to hit SGT Brennan or LT Winters (if you look at the map, he’s actually on the opposite side of LT Winters and the window to the building you’re trying to fire through, doesn’t match up with your line of fire).
  
  Friedrich von Namur:
  
• Successfully covering the ground between the building and the enemy’s building, Friedrich also successfully managed to shoot and kill NPC: PVT. Collins; from point-blank range, Friedrich has also sustained muzzle burns across the face, from firing in such close quarters with a long-range weapon, blinding him temporarily.
  
  
• Firing another 9 shots (of the 10) has been voided to a mere 2 shots; sorry, but there is no way you can fire ten shots with a bolt-action rifle so quickly AND suddenly leap into cover, all without facing some sort of enemy retaliation. I’m sure you’d be pretty annoyed if the tables were turned and someone randomly managed to pop off several shots at you, before taking cover? Not allowing you a chance to defend. Heck, after killing NPC PVT. Collins (finishing the job) I’m pretty sure the enemy would know you’re there.
  
  - Bullet one vaguely missed SGT.Brennan and impaled the wall behind him.
  - Bullet two thumped straight passed LT Winter’s torso and hit the debris.

Kinda lost guys havent been following along reading every post sorry if im off a bit i just dont have alot of time. I live on farm and we have a couple hundred acres of Alfalfa and Apples.


Winters was scared stiff as the bullet flew beside him and ripped into the soft wood. He slammed the stripper clip into the gun. Winters jammed a round into the chamber. He ran out fired one shot at Fredrich then ran back in. He took a breather for a minute. Checked his gun ran out and shot one more hoping to finish him off. Winters heard no more of the soldier outside. WInters prayed that he had killed him but he wasnt sure so he stayed inside ready for anything too happen. Winters sat down and took a sip of his canteen. Then he opened his pack looking for a piece of anything too munch on, but found only a piece of chocolate but that would do. Then took off his helmet because it was really really irritating him.

Hey guys,
I'm closing this thread due to it becoming a little strange; I understand certain aspects and actions made would’ve actually happened, but at the same time, let’s be honest - who’s having fun still?

It’s dragged on too long and nothing seems to be happening of great importance. Not just that alone, but I’m unable to mark “Greater Actions” by members, as a majority of the members within this thread only have standard bolt-action rifles and whether you like it or not, the scheme for using a bolt-action rifle doesn’t give you much clarity for better hits and performance.

So that could be a tell-tail sign of why this thread has lasted the way it has. Dragged on.

Also, I have a slight feeling the realism is borderline slightly. LT Winters, you can’t strafe back and forth popping off shots out of a window, then sit, take your helmet off and begin eating chocolate in the middle of a battle!? Madness!

So due to many reasons, this thread has been deemed closed and I’ve discussed this with the Moderation Team already. CP will be issued and for future references (for better Rps) you may lock your threads so only certain people are allowed to enter or only a certain number of people may enter; such as 1 vs. 1, 2 vs. 2... So forth. Never feel obliged to keep it completely open to the board, this isn’t seen as discrimination and rule breaking, so don’t worry, I would even personally remove the unwanted people from your thread!

Again - great thread and a great start to those new members. Hope the routine and general idea of how to perform in hostile threads is understood now.
