OOC: Anyone can join. I really want a good ole fashioned shooting thread, so if there is any Axis charcter out there can you please join?
The picture is just a quick little thing by paint to make you understand the map. Nobody has to use it.

A small twig snapped as Daniel put his foot down on the ground. He was trying to walk through the woods as quietly as he could, but he was still making a fair bit of noise. He stiffened as a loud rustle came in from his left. ”Shut up, over there!” He whispered angrily. ”Sorry.” came back the muffled reply. Daniel just shook his head and moved on. He had nothing against Private Collins. It’s just that he was like a rabbit compared to the amount of noise that Collins made.
The two of them had been walking in the forest for about an hour now, and the trees were thinning out. It wasn’t a very big patrol that they were on. There was a small farmyard up ahead that needed to be checked out. Headquarters had said that there was only a small chance of an encounter with the enemy, but you could never be too careful. So many men had been killed in “easy” missions that everyone went out in full gear for every patrol.
Daniel held up his hand, signalling to stop. ”The farm is just up ahead, see it?” Daniel, stooping, walked forward a few more steps, beckoning to Thomas to come closer. There were a lot of different buildings in the compound. Any of them could be hiding a sniper or a machine gunner. The large barn could be hiding a whole platoon of Krauts, and he wouldn’t have a clue. ”Collins, over there to that wall, quickly!” Daniel muttered. He didn’t dare tell him that he was the guinea-pig. He wouldn’t do it if he knew. Daniel trained his submachine-gun at the buildings. If he saw so much as a patch of grey, then he would open fire.
