I'm just saying, but I think parts of this forum are becoming more than a little imature. I'm not trying to insult Dan and Danny, but when a possible new member omes on, and sees that one of you has a birthday cake, and the admin has thousands of CP's, three tanks, and a medal just created to look good, it might just make them log out and never come back. I though this site was into attrcting one type of people, but it seems to be trying to put them off and attract others.

I know, it just doesn't look good from the outside. I'm happy with, I'm just saying that other people might be put off if there looking for a sensible RP and it looks like its run by kids.

It was my birthday. ^.^ Everyone likes birthday cakes. I don't really think PuNk's CP is a rell problem either. If they are looking at the forum and they see that the Admin has loads of CP/weapons and they run off, then screw them. They would be able to see that the Admin doesn't roleplay and if they leave that easily then we don't want them.

EDIT: PuNk didn't give himself that medal. If you look in the medals section, then you will see that it was awarded to him by SeeJay for being sich a great Admin.

Lol, it's just a bit of fun.
This website is strict on the whole regime when it comes to RPG Battles and so forth, particularly ranks and everything else, but when it's someone's birthday who's done so much for this board. I'm going to mark the occassion with a little something; we're all friends here, not enemies or foes that are blood thirsty to get to the top.

This is a friendly RPG and I'm not sure the type of Audience you thought this place was attracting? (mature, yes) but it's certainly not a type of audience that can't lighten up and be thankful to one another.

If my Mini-Profile offends you that much, then I'm sorry? It's a good point to take into aspect with new members browing the website and reading all the threads I've made (rules, how to use this and that), but C'mon. I RARELY role play now, because all I'm doing is Mod-Marking, pulling together new ideas with my staff for updates and in reality, this account is purely for staff matters.

No one's complained until now and frankly, you haven't been very active yourself, in a sense to bring up a rant that will not and has not affected you, or anyone else for that matter, just because I have a few images in my profile? And the Medal was issued to me by another Staff Member.

Again, good point, if anyone else finds my Mini-Profile Insulting and immature, let me know. As it stands, this matter is quite pointless to be discussing - it hasn't prevented people from signing up.

I understand Golodkowski's point of view, but I also know PuNk!'s account is purely for Staff Purposes. In all honesty, if I were a new member and mature enough to join an RPG Forum such as this, I would also know that the Admin's account (by looking at his mini profile and name) isn't a board character.

It does seem a little silly to be ranting over a staff member's mini profile, but I do see the point too and PuNk! has a point of his own. Plus, why bring up a rant when you've only just begun to use this website? I don't see the big deal, you've been here 2mins and already you're scrutinizing a staff member's account?

It's a little unfair to say this place looks like it's run by kids, when the three staff members have put so much work into this place and it's forever upgrading, perhaps it's wise to put all the focus on how to better the place, rather than pick at someone's profile, like it's going to miraculously stop scaring people into signing up. we have plenty of members, doubt we need loads more.
