Navy?

Hello.

I know this most likely is not the right area to be posting this, but for the life of me I could not think of anywhere else to post. So I figured here better than not.

Anyway, I'm sure being the prominent WWII RP site that you all are, the question of utilizing naval forces and naval combat has come into question. I was wishing to inquire the status of such.

Is there a naval system installed? Being installed? Or being talked about? I'm a very large WWII naval buff, if you haven't guessed already by all of the variants of "navy" I've used. ;D

I would even be more than willing to help construct a navy guide, or ranks, and even ships. Anything that I could contribute here to help out and see that it worked. I would very much like to know!

Hi Interested,

As the link says, this site isn't so much a naval thing, we're more focused on the land wars of World War Two, with an air force element seeing as they provided a major element of support. In Europe and Africa, where our RP is centered around, naval combat was rather minimal.

To introduce naval combat, we would have to completely re-work how this site runs, something that whilst you may be willing to work on, would consume massive amounts of time and effort from the staff, a group of volunteers which are currently working on other endevours around the site.

So, this is something we may consider in the far future, but for now it isn't really an option.
