Character History:
- Was forced into nursing by her family. Decided that being she was such a 'troublemaker' back home, they thought that the military might actually be a good way for her to get straightened out. She was signed up by her father.
She actually began getting used to the military and took up nursing. Her specialty is medication and minor apprentice surgery. She was assigned to assist in the war for her specialties. She ended up having to assist in several procedures helping the doctors heal up soldiers from her own country that were badly injured. Gillian doesn't mind helping those from other countries, but is highly against the Nazi's and would help them, but not treat them with respect or anything like that. She can be a bit of a judgmental person, but not against her own countrymen. She had a stealing problem and a drug problem before she was forced to enlist into the war. She got her license rather quickly, picking up the material rather fast and graduated top of her class.

Writing Sample:
Gillian knows that time is running out. Her leader was shot in the chest and is bleeding profusely. She quickly grabs a pair of tweezers and carefully pulls out the bullet, but realizes that it had gone cleanly through his chest. The bullet just narrowly missed his heart.
She grabs her bag and pulled out the sutures. She stitches the entry wound up and the exit wound, and then places fresh gauze on either side to make sure that no dirt or infection get in. In order to keep him from actually getting an infection, she administers a small dose of pennicilin into a syringe and then injects it into a vein in his leg.
"This should ward off infection" She said leaning over him. "But there's no guarentee. I could give about 2 CC's each hour to make sure that nothing happens but its basically a wait and see game right now" she explained. "Luckily, the bullet just grazed your heart. You lost a good amount of blood and will probably need a transfusion. That I can perform in about 4 hours. i want to make sure that you're clear from infection before I do that" she said
She gently applied an antibiotic serum onto a fresh gauze and pulled up the old one. She pressed it onto the wound where the fresh stitches were. She taped it down and then turned to the other nurse.
"Keep an eye on him. Let me know if he gets a fever. Give him water little by little. For now we'll keep food to a minimum and just give him water until I see" she intructed her.
Gillian wiped her hands and stepped outside. She sighed and sat down, shaking slightly. She missed the days when things were normal and there were no unneccessary men dying, including sixteen year old.
