Name: Liliya Sidorkov
Alignment:
Red Air Force
Character History:
- Liliya Sidorokva was born on 1919 May 2. She was born in Moscow,
Russia. Her immediate family consisted only of her father and sister
(Her sister died at age nine of Pneumonia). This left just her father,
as her mother had been killed in a train accident in 1922. Liliya spent
most of her days throwing balls with the local boys, and running as a
sport. She hated school and dropped out when she turned 17 years old.
Her father was appalled and seemed to slump into an even deeper
depression than he had been in before. Liliya, however, did not care
about this in the least. She had never been particularly close to her
father after the death of her mother and sister. And her father had
not really tried to build a relationship with her during her younger
years. Liliya was someone with a hard and cold heart, and she often
spoke harshly to anyone she met, and getting into onerous arguments
with them seemed to be her hobby.
Things weren't much better for Liliya as she grew older, and by the
time she turned 21 she was out of a job. Her father soon commited
suicide and his lifeless body was found, along with a note saying he
was leaving everything to her. There wasn't much to leave however, her
father had spent his life savings along time ago and had been living
on credit (Which had amounted from thousands to millions of ruble (the
Russian word for money).
Liliya became so angry, she threw the note away, stalked off, and one
year later joined the Red Air Force.
Military Rank:
The Russian equivalent of Flight Sergeant.

Scenario: You’re alone in enemy air space. Your wingman has been shot
down, and you have a feeling that an enemy plane is stalking you. What
does your character do, what does he feel? What is he thinking?
Liliya squinted down at the controls of her plane. She had a feeling in the pit of her stomach, like something really bad was about to happen if she didn't stop whatever it was. She knew her wingman was dead, and it made her cringe with the thought. If only she had done something, he might not be dead. But what could she have done? Nothing. Wasn't that always the case. She sighed and sucked in a breath of air. She felt as though she was going to be ill at any moment.
The Flight Sergeant decided to get comfortable in the cockpit. After all, she was either going to die in here or get out alive in it, and she would preffer either to happen quickly. Liliya relaxed her fingers, and let out a deep breath. Suddenly she looked into her rearview mirror and her mouth dropped open when she saw an enemy plane coming her way and fast.
"I guess my feeling was right," she thought. Liliya turned the control stick to the left and and shook her head. "Not today..." she muttered. "I'm not dying today..."
Liliya decided her best bet would be to hit the enemy plane on it's tail end, where the engine might blow. It would only work if she could get a clear shot from behind. Liliya checked the fuel indicator and breathed a sigh of relief when she saw that it was full. If she ran out of fuel she was dead no matter what. The enemy plane was getting closer with every minute, if she didn't hurry she wouldn't have time to turn.
Liliya willed the plane to turn. She grasped the Control stick and turned it left and then down a bit. The enemy was gaining... she felt a blast go right over her own plane. The enemy had fired first, that was good. Now she was right below him. She pulled the control stick upwards and the plane flew up as it was instructed. Liliya centered her guns on the enemy and with one small grin, fired. The ships engine caught on fire, exploded, and the enemy plane went with it.
