What Army will Your Character Serve Beneath? U.S Marines
Character History: Jacob Anderson was born and raised in Denver Colorado as the youngest of three other brothers. He was picked on as being the runt by hi bothers and often tried hard to impress them to no hope. As a child he was always fascinated by adventure and often would play in his backyard games like solider. His father had been wound in WWI1 when America had joined and returned home but died of his injury's shorty after Jake's mother gave birth him. His mother raised her sons alone and wanted them to grow up right. When he was a teenager Jake's Love o adventure did not go away. He would rid out to the woods ad explore it and still Dreamed of glory. When the U.S entered WW22 he was 16. His brother's joined as well. With one joining the Airborne the other joining he marine. Two of his brothers did in the Philippines and when Jake was 17 he manged to trick his way into joining the 1st Marine division. He went to boot camp where he was flung through the tough training regime. He was often berate by the drill instructors but his hard will to do good kept him going through it until at last he was sent overseas. Jake is now waiting for his first battle itching to fur fill his dreams of glory and adventure but also to prove his worth for his country.

Writing Sample: On he Island of Guadalcanal n the Solomons Private Jacob Anderson was in a bind. He as separate from his squad after a Jap ambush flushed them all directions. e was snow hunched in the shrub clutching his m1 carbine. Worst of all was the rain. His whole body was drenched in water as the huge Storm continued over head. He could hear the sound of artillery in the distance and gunshots. checking his surroundings he began to move towards what he he hope was Henderson's field. He went a few paces before stepping into a puddle of mud. Swearing he wrenched his foot free and kept walking. He went a few minutes until the sound of Jap soldiers forced him to hide in he trees. Looking out at the patrol walking by he began wishing he could rise up and smoke them one then and there but that would only be good for a second before he was shot dead. Once they were gone he kept walking, the jungle seemed more eerie now that he was alone the sound of bids and the wind whipped around his face was making him go on edge. He hear more gunshots and ducking into the mud saw with relief that hi squad was ahead engage wit a Japanese patrol. He ran towards cover and began making his way over to them as bullets whizzed by his head. Joining the fight he felt relived only fr a second until h realized it wasn't;t over.
