What Army will Your Character Serve Beneath?: Waffen SS

Character History: Stephan Kaiser born on November 13th 1917, to a high ranking German officer Rudolf Kaiser and his wife Helena. Born and raised in Germany's capital city Berlin, one would say that Stephan lived a blessed life despite the extremely hard depression that had just hit Germany due to the signing of the Versailles treaty, there was also great instability to the south in the Bavaria region due to the communist party attempting to take over. However young Stephan was still oblivious to the world around living a lavish life in Berlin, his parents spoiling and doting on their only child.

As the boy grew older, his world had just been opened up to the bitter rivalry between the German communist party and the Socialist Party, A.K.A: the Nazi party. It was all his parents talked about, it was the mean headlines of everyday news. Like his father he strongly believed in the myth that it was the communists fault that Germany had lost the war and they signed the Versailles treaty. It was only a year later that Stephan's history was going to change after the burning of the Reichstag and the arrest of the communist MP. At that point at the mere age of 16 Stephan entered the world of politics by joining the National Socialist Party along with his entire family.

It was only 1 year later that Stephan began his military career with the rise of the Nazi party as the leading power of Germany and Hitler becoming the president of Germany after being chancellor. His ideologies and beliefs suited Stephan as he was extremely proud of his Prussian heritage and his pure German blood beyond anything else. Stephan joined the Waffen SS and had actually participated along with the SS in the Annexation of Austria and Czechoslovakia. However all this was a mere walk in the park to what he was about to sign himself up for. Hitler required the SS to follow the German army into Poland for peace and security. Being the young reckless men they were they were overexposed and had severe casualties in their ranks, however the one thing this experience had done to Stephan was amplify his blood lust to no ends always seeking violence and torture for his own sick twisted pleasure.

RP SAMPLE: The moment was solemn and rather quiet, they were hungry, lost and all alone, the SS Waffen division deployed in southern Poland had just lost their captain who was shot in the heart in a minor skirmish with Polish rebels who refused to give up their city. Outside the small captured manor bombing could be heard from the Panzers that scattered the streets, men in the gray uniform charging outside. However inside the lonely manor soldiers grieved the loss of their captain. 2nd Lieutenant Stephan Kaiser now leading the remaining troops looked around at his disheartened comrades. After silently burying their captain in the backyard so that his body would not be tampered with. It dawned on him that he needed to lead his men out alive to reunite with the main army.

Once back inside and everyone was safe risking their lives to bury their captain Stephan mentally counted heads. "Comrades it grieves me to no ends that we lost our captain but we cannot remain here or we are sitting ducks." The Lieutenant's German had a very distinct Berlin accent to it, that which belonged to the upper class. Stephan reached for his hat and placed it on the table and reached for a dagger concealed under his uniform. Stephan looked around to see his comrades' reactions. Stephan then suddenly stabbed the table with his dagger, his knuckles turning white from the force. "This is our current location." Pointing to the dagger, "this is where we need to be." Pointing to his hat. "Our main objective staying the *@#$% alive got it!" Stephan always as a little boy had this bizarre charisma that attracted people to him, this is a moment where he needed to utilize his charisma and let his voice falter. Stephan was anticipating leading soldiers of his own but not now, his mind had a thousand thoughts rapidly dashing through. Stephan inhaled deeply and continued explaining the plan to his comrades.

Approximately four hours later, 5 SS Waffen soldiers made cover under nightfall, the freezing icy winds whipping against their faces , hissing like an angered snake. Through the chilling cold, Stephan managed to keep a firm grip over his sniper rifle, stopping his contingent every few yards to check through his scope. The sniper he had acquired from a dead Polish soldier nearby. There was no man in sight. Stephan raised two fingers motioning for his troops to strive on. Through the window of the manor one man left behind for cover with another sniper. Treading very carefully so not to attract attention, slowly but steadily they finally made their way north to another abandoned house. Quickly the troops ransacked it for food and water but Stephan quickly called for order splitting the food equally between all his soldiers. Stephan then went to the balcony of the house lying flat on his stomach to cover for the man left behind.
