She was beautiful, so beautiful and the one true love to ever have captured SS-Sturmbannführer Wolfram’s heart. A true specimen of German engineering that displayed all fortitude of the German dominance and might in every way possible. She was not to be reckoned with, she had no true nemesis counter-part that could stand toe to toe against her and her alluring hunger that drove men to war willingly forebode the hearts of men like a tainted curse and warped them to an early shallow grave. She was beautiful, she was his and nobody else’s. Nobody could love her the same as the SS-Sturmbannführer could, unlike others whom pick at her flaws and imperfections for being such a large and complicated beast to understand. No, he understood just perfectly. He knew what buttons to push, how she enjoyed the squeeze and thrill; nobody else would just simply not understand.
Smoothing the palm of his sweaty hand across the dense, cold hard surface of her exterior, the SS-Sturmbannführer smiled to himself and gave her a little pat to accommodate his loving mood. “Wir werden weit zusammen gehen” he whispered to her softly. The drumming noise of a distant engine caught the wind and SS-Sturmbannführer Wolfram shot a glance over his shoulder to the forthcoming truck, rapidly approaching their position in the middle of nowhere; the green pasture of field on which the SS-Sturmbannführer stood, was soiled with fresh green growth, although it had never seen war just yet, it was about to get a taster.
As the rickety truck stopped close by, the SS-Sturmbannführer whispered once more, only for his fair lady to hear: “Seien Sie zu ihnen jetzt nett, es ist ihr erstes Mal” he said with a grin, before turning towards five men approaching the tank in sheer awe and amazement, completely oblivious to the SS-Sturmbannführer’s presence for a short period. “Mein Herr, das ist ein Panzerkampfwagen Tiger Ausf. B!” the SS-Unterscharführer (Tank Commander) said with passion and amazement, before noticing his superior standing before himself. Straightening up, he snapped to attention and glanced towards his men nervously, hoping they noticed the officer too. “Herr SS-Sturmbannführer!”[/I] he acknowledged, the rest of his tank crew immediately showing the same respect - eventually.
“So sind Sie die glückliche Mannschaft?” the SS-Sturmbannführer questioned, the SS-Unterscharführer nodded sternly in response. “Gut, gut. Zukünftig wird Ihnen alles Decknamen gegeben, an die Sie sich erinnern sollten! Diese werden Ihre neue Identität in der ganzen Zeit sein - verstehen Sie?” the crew exchanged a Ja between themselves, leaving the SS-Sturmbannführer to step forward and begin the process of giving them a code name each. “SS-Unterscharführer, als Zisterne-Kommandant, werden Sie jetzt als JÄGER bekannt” looking to the next man in line, he continued to assemble the new code names for each man in turn. “SS-Rottenführer, als der Treiber, werden Sie als KRIEGSHERR bekannt. SS-Panzeroberschütze, als der Bordfunker, werden Sie als VERRÜCKT bekannt. SS-Panzerschütze, als mein Kanonier, werden Sie als JUNGES BLUT und schließlich, SS-Panzerschütze als mein Lader bekannt, Sie werden als WILDER bekannt” he finished. Although the names were unconventional and random, that served as the soul purpose, to be able to confuse any infiltrating Allied ears listening in on their radio communication, in hope to confuse and put the hound-dog’s smell off course.
The tank crew stood silent after being given their code names, but they understood perfectly why these names were to be given and their immediate importance. “Sie werden diese Decknamen zu jeder Zeit, sogar zu einander zukünftig, verstanden verwenden?” once more, the men gave a simultaneous chirp of agreement that they understood. The SS-Sturmbannführer nodded, turning to look at the King Tiger sitting idle beside himself and grin once more, recalling what he had said to his fair lady as the fresh tank crew arrived. They indeed needed a lot of practice to be experienced crewmen with his large lady and today’s endeavours served that purpose, they were going to train and continue training until each man knew his position inside of the tank skilfully.
Looking across the field, SS-Sturmbannführer Wolfram noticed a small crowd of soldiers gathering at the far end of the field to watch the crew train with the tank. The King Tiger was still primitive in production and not many soldiers were fortunate enough to see one just yet, epically in action, perhaps he could put on a show worth watching? The idea amused the SS-Sturmbannführer’s conscious. “Lassen Sie uns jetzt angefangen werden” he said with a faint smile on his lips, watching as the tank crew shared the growing enthusiasm.
OOC:
This may be a little difficult to enter this thread, so use your imagination. Meanings to each tank crew’s code name can be read on the Waffen-SS roster, if you’re curious and if it’s becoming difficult reading all the translated script, I can type the dialogue in English instead, if you wish.

- You will use these code names at all times, even to each other from now on, understood?
Lassen Sie uns jetzt angefangen werden
- Now, let us get started.
