I've been experiencing this bugging problem on my computer whenever I try to run a program or install a program. I'm at my wits end with it all now and I can't seem to work out a solution to the problem.
I've googled it a thousand times and it has nothing to do with a Linksy Wireless Card before you even ask. It's practically a system problem that just keeps popping up and it's doing it more frequent than ever now.
The error message I'm getting is: EXTERNAL EXCEPTION: E06D7363.
It's getting mega annoying now. Any help would be fantastic. ~Danny

sounds like you had a temporary piece of hardware plugged into your system and instead of clicking on it and then clicking "safely remove hardware" you just unplugged it...which is what pretty much everyone does anyway, but the better a system is, the higher the chances are that it will affect something within it...so I was once told.
As for fixing that (if it is even the problem at all) you would need to get your hands onto that hardware again and repeat the process.
This happened to my laptop ages ago before the hardrive went bad in it.

Bro, you're the first person (out of four or five forum posts I've made on technical support boards) to respond with some sort of answer to help me. Thank you, lol. I've been pulling my hair out with this.
The thing is, I haven't installed any new pieces of hardware nor' had anything new attached. Other than my printer, nothing new has been installed hardware wise or attached to my computer.
I'll try plugging my printer back into my comp' and see whether it makes a blind bit of difference or not. It's been unplugged for a couple of months now and this problem has only just sprout-up. I literally can't install ANYTHING onto my computer, it's worrying.
Thanks again Bro, I'll give it a shot and let you know what happens. ~Danny

You seem to be a bit of a techie, so I'm a little apprehensive at suggesting that you do a virus scan. Sometimes things like this are just bugs that have found their way into the system. When you haven't done anything new to your computer and it all of a sudden does something weird, it's likely a virus.
If you've already done this, then perhaps someone else can offer a better solution, but I've often had problems that turned out to be viruses.

If my advise above is applicable at all, it would pertain to anything from a mouse or thumb drive to a printer or scanner, pretty much anything plugged into your computer other than the power cable or ethernet cable.
Hey guys, thanks for the concern and help, but I done a Factory Image Restore in the end, because I was unable to run installation CDs of any type or download any files without errors popping. So I wasn't able to run my OS CD to repair corrupt files or download them from the Internet to patch the corrupt files manually, which left me in the stick.
So in the end, I was left with formatting my hard-drive and doing a complete factory restore. The system restore (which is different, only takes you back to a previous "save point") didn't work and I couldn't go back further than nine days for some odd reason and the problem had been persisting for longer that.
On the bright side! I have fixed it now. It may take a little while to get all my needed software back onto my PC, so any image manipulation I have done in the past, will have to wait, because I have no Paintshop (or installation CD). Same with other pieces of software.
At least I can use my damned computer once more again though. ~Danny
