Like I said in the chat box the other day to Nathan and Erik, I didn't realise Battlefield 3 was a completely different (separate) storyline to the awful Bad Company duo.

I'm a huge fan of Battlefield. I think the Battlefield games (1942) alongside SIMS and Theme Hospital were the very first games I've ever bought for the PC and I fell in love with Battlefield ever since. I bought all the 1942 expansion packs, 1943 editions, Battlefield 2 and 2142. I didn't bother with the Vietnam one...

My expectations were just really high when it came onto Xbox 360 and disappointed couldn't have summed it up anymore. Storyline was probably one of the worse mainline stories I've played and trust me, even CoD has me thinking sometimes - WTF? With it's mega confusing and long winded storyline.

Still... I pray BF3 is going to be a hit, because you guys have talked me around to give it one last go. CoD: WaW was a mega disappointment and CoD: Black Ops wasn't fantastic either. Like BF though, those CoD games were by Treyarch and they've always done spin-off scenarios, so maybe like BF with their spin-off scenarios, once back onto the main story and main-game plot, it will be ten times better.

Like I said, it's back on my list.
By the way Heiko, CoD 3 is my all time favorite CoD and I highly recommend giving it a shot. You have all your classes still and was the last CoD that used the class system before they went customization mad with everything.

If you ever buy it or give it a go, let me know and I'll give you a game.
