What Army will Your Character Serve Beneath?

Character History:
Jack grew up in the center of Cardiff. He was born into a middle class family, he had 3 brothers and 2 sisters. He was the youngest of them all. His mother stayed at home to look after and raise the children and his father was a sergeant in the army.
When jack was born his brothers were,3,5 and 7 years of age and his sisters were 4 and 6.
Jack always seemed to find trouble even when he wasnt looking for any. When he was three he accidently stepped on the table cloth and everything on the table came down on him. He'd learnt to fight from a young age because of his elder brothers, they would always push their weight around however adam the second youngest couldnt do that to Jack when Jack was 5. Jack had learnt from the fights he'd had before and had turned into a great little fighter. Hee had grown close to his elder brother adam when he was six and they ended up doing lots of things together. That part of his life was torn away from him when his brother adam died of Polio.
When Jack was seven his older brother left to work in the mines. His father then died in battle when he was eight leaving his older brother as the only income provider. This caused his eldest siter to leave and join the army as a nurse. His other brother then went and joined his eldest brother in the coal mines. Things got worse when Jacks eldest brother died in a cave in while he was inthe mines. This had devestating effects of Jack but worse on his mother. She had lost 2 children and her husband.
Jack was never bright when he was in school, he wasnt stupid either. He was an average pupil and thats exactly what his teacher had told his mother.
When Jack was 12 he left school and joined his brother in the coal mines. Jack found the dark and deep tunnels to scare him however he pushed himself on for the sake of his mother.
Since Jack was 12 he'd wanted to head the the army to do what his father did. He didnt openly express this for fear his mother wouldnt let him, she'd already lost a love one to the horrors of war and didnt want to lose another. He endured keeping his desires a secret until he turned 18. When he finally told his mother and brother they bwere amazed because he hadnt shown any longing to join the army but they knew better than to argue with him and allowed him to join.

The sound of gunfire echoed through the air. The sound or people screaming as they were hit by the deadly peices of metel. Jack crouched down in the trench awaiting the next charge.
"Right lads!,lets teach em a lesson for messing with us!"Jack bellowed as he rose so his gun was at ground level and began shooting at the charging Germans. He could hear the screams of dieing men,many of whom were killed by him. He was listening to them as he shot unti a scream echoed a little closer to home. He looked around to his his staff Sergeant sprawled on his back with blood oozing from the whole in his chest.
"Medic!Medic!" he shouted as he went to his commanding officer's side.
"You know what you have to do now lad, lead them,save them" with those last word his staff sergeant died in his arms.
A grim determination to get revenge gripped him. He turned and stood in the trench.
"Right then ya bastards! Come and get it!" he shouted as he let loose his rounds of his rifle on the Germans. With every one of his shots he took down a charging German. He did this endlessly until he realized that there were no more charging. He dropped back in the trench and reloaded to make sur ehe had a full magazine ready for the next charge. He took a drink from his canteen then looked at his men. Most had expressions of determination on their faces but the man next to him stared at him in shock.
He crouched down and walked the length of the trench giving his men encouragement and also informing the othersergeants that he was now in command. When he finally arrived back at his post he sat down and took a big drink fro his canteen, he wasgoing to be busy today. He turned to the man who had been staring at him in shock and told him,
"War make men do crazy things lad," said Jack and then turned and stared at the floor.
He heard a gunshot in the distance and then heard a man shout
"Medic!"
Snipers! Not bloody snipers. God they were pest's.
"Keep your heads down! Dont give them a target!" Jack shouted.
He settled back down. It was a few minutes later that the man he'd stationed to watch for more Germans shouted to him.
"Here they come again sir!"
War was a grissly buisness but it had to be done if not by him then by who? He rose and ad he spun shouted
"Here we go lads,lets send em packing just like last time!"
He looked down the sights of his gun and saw the Germans come into view. Here we go again........
