No. of Players (Allied/Axis): 1 Vs 1 Introductory Posts (Neutral/Hostile): Neutral Location (Board and Sub-Board): North Africa - Open Area Time of Day (24 Hour Clock): 0600hrs Current Weather Conditions: Clear Skies Map:
Units Allied Normal Units (Private and Corporal NPC’s): 5 Special Units (All other NPC’s): 0 Light Vehicles: 1 Armoured Vehicles: 0 Planes: 0
Axis Normal Units (Private and Corporal NPC’s): 10 Special Units (All other NPC’s): 0 Light Vehicles: 0 Armoured Vehicles: 0 Planes: 0
Hey guys, I've created a small North African orientated map where the Axis will be garrisoned within or around the radio-tower (they will have higher ground advantage and better environmental defenses), whilst the Allies with a crack squad of SAS units will be performing the attack. The Allies will also bring one light vehicle.
I'm being completely open with my unit decisions, the SAS units have been classed as normal units because I don't feel they come under the special category? I'm happy to change that if need be.
The Axis may bring anywhere up to ten privates or corporal NPCs, so I'm allowing to be outnumbered NPC wise and the Axis will also have the best cover on the map. This includes environmental advantages and a radio-tower/building against five NPCs and one light vehicle.
Anyone interested and does anyone have any questions? ~Danny
Following Stats are Calculated from Beneath My Command: (Including Epic Battles)
Enemy Kills: 37 / Unit Losses: 9 /Enemy Wounded: 16
Enemy Captives: 0 / Unit Captives: 0 / Promotions: 1
The numbers should be fine. Got myself a nice, pretty little Stg44 because I have a feeling I'll be up against 3 Brens.
Anyway, can I ask a few questions about the map? Is that little bulge in between the two groups of rocks the only way up onto the higher ground? Or is it low enough that those pesky Brits will be able to climb up anywhere?
Also, where are the entrances/opening on the radio tower?

Whatever makes you think you'll be up against three Brens!?
As for the map and your questions. To start with, the slope is the "only direct safe entrance" to the higher ground (heading towards the radio-tower) yes. The "rocky exterior" surrounding the higher ground is a steep-rocky-slope that reaches a pinnacle height of twenty to twenty-five foot high. So the higher ground isn't extremely tall, but it's still quite an elevation and although it "can be" climbed, it's a steep slope and rocky terrain making it a little dangerous.
Don't think of it as a tall wall or cliff-edge, but rather a steep growing slope upwards with a rocky exterior. So it can be climbed or trekked up, but would take effort and prove to be a little dangerous with a wrong-step.
I also made a mistake with the building, I didn't present any windows or doorways, so a new map will be provided below with the changes. Been a while since I've made a battle map!

Coolio. Oh, so you won't be bringing 3 Brens? How about you bring 0 and just bring that nice Colt and that Diary.
Well, since you're going to be on the offensive here I'm guessing you'll be doing the first post? Feel free to get that post up whenever, but I probably won't be able to post until after this Friday.
