I turned it on and was staring at them for three seconds. And then I thought to myself "All I want to see is the mom swoop into the nest."

Bam, two seconds later she was there.

And so then I thought, "Now I just want to see her feed them."

Bam, she was tearing up some corpse in the nest and feeding them. Poor little guy on the left barely got anything and just curled up in a ball though. His brothers stole all the food.

In nature, if I recall correctly, there's often a chick who will get the short end of the stick in the nest. He may very well end up being the one dying because he can't compete with his siblings to get a meal from Mama. There's only so much the female can provide for her brood.
