I'm in the market for a thread, so if anyone starts a thread anywhere with an ((OPEN)) in the title, I'll join it. I have an American Pilot Captain, American and German Finnish NCOs, and Gussy the Gestapo, so I can pretty much join any thread for those nations.

Or you can pm this account to plan a thread, and not have, SUDDENLY MAC in your thread.

But be warned, although my schedule is clear for the time being, things have a habit of sneaking in and stealing my attention. So I don't want any threads that would be important to your character or anything, and then have them die before the good stuff happen.

Well... If you have a Russian character, I have a neutral that's open and awaiting someone to join. I'm not clear on the boundries of Americans or British mingling with the Russians? If ever such a thing occured during the war, if so, then I guess it wouldn't be weird if you joined with one of them characters. Like I said, I'm not a whizz with the whole Eastern-Front ordeal, but the option stands nonetheless.

No, I do not have a Russian character, Raf. But perhaps my pilot character had flown to the Soviet Union to check out the Lady Fighter Pilots.

Ah, nevermind. As for the pilot idea, that's certainly a plausible solution to break the barrier maybe. I would be interested in role playing with Wolfram and your Mr Messer character, a Kriminalinspektor to have befriended would be quite ideal for someone of Wolfram's stature and motives on partisan groups; Slavic partisans in particular due to his son's death.

Only problem being, I feel as though I'm exhausting Wolfram at the moment and fancied challenges in new avenues. Hence, Ivan or even Niklas Risto perhaps, a Finnish resistance fighter sub-recruited into the American army to "properly" fight the Germans. Rather than operating as a resistance fighter in the shadows.

I keep forgetting I also have Wolfram's brother. Angelus Wolfram (thanks to my actual real life sibling who abandoned the character, ironic) so there's a few avenues we could stretch if you're willing to start a small storyline of sorts? Again, I've exhausted Rafael at the moment and he's currently in three active threads, two of which I need to post, but my muse for him is dwindling.

Angelus could befriend Inspektor Messer? As one storyline if you fancied that one.

Assuming the pilot is Chuck, if we chased the Russian plot with Ivan. A mysterious character of mine yet to be revealed properly.

Orr... Your choice of Allied characters with Niklas Risto. The Finnish ex-resistance fighter now serving under the American flag with a few patriot friends (actual named NPCs bought) alongside.

I'll allow you to decide, because I'm happy to take any route you wish. My muse is fuelled for all avenues, just Mr R.Wolfram needs a minor break from new threads at the moment.

Yes, the pilot is Chuck. But I am reading the Mike Hammer series of film noiry hard-boiled detective novels so I'm in a Messer kind of mood. I would be happy to do a plot with Angelus.

But also, I think I mentioned this before, perhaps sometime we could do a Niklas/Freddy the Finn plot set before WWII proper. Starting with Freddy coming from America to his homeland to fight in the Winter War. And then they might argue about Nik going to America to fight Germany and not defend their home. If you would want to do a kind of flashback thing.

But anyway, like I said, Messer/Wolfam first.

That actually sounds quite interesting with the Niklas and Freddy plot, I had ambitions to have Niklas apart of the Winter-War in some light, whether it wasin his BIO history or whatever, but I think this would make for a far better scheme and story. I've rarely used Niklas in role play, so it would be a fresh "flashback" if we conquered this thread and quite interesting tooooo.

We've discussed the Wolfram and Messer plot in the chatbox, so I'm assuming there's little to discuss in this thread if we stick to the plan on you joining mine and Matt's thread towards the end and then we could spiral a thread or two to follow with Wolfram and Messer.

If you felt like starting a thread between Nik' and Freddy now, for the meantime until you adjoined the fray with Wolfram's on-going plot, we could certainly get the ball rolling. Feel me and Matt have a few posts left before you could join with Messer.

And I do have other threads now, plus I would consider a Winter War plot a big character dev. thread that would take more thinking then some "Let's go to the Range" kind of thread, so it may take a bit of time for me to start it. But when we do, what should the first thread be? Fredrick and the other American volunteers arriving in Finland and meeting Niklas and the Finns?
