Good afternoon, morning, evening, whatever, everyone.
The Red army is calling it's soldiers to the arms.
There's going to be a big series of training- maneuver- threads, challenging all of your tactical knowledge and military talent. Although the threads are going to get set as neutral ones, the form of everything will be straight as in a hostile- thread. So every participant has to handle a map and every hostile- post is going to get marked by a mod.
Of course, in the maneuver there'll only be blanks and training- shells in use, so no member is endangered of getting wounded or even dying. Also, the troops provided for the thread don't need to be the few, that you've already gathered together in your platoons. As it's basically a neutral- thread, the soldiers and maybe even light vehicles will get supplied within each sign- up of a maneuver thread.
Soooo, participants of the maneuver- threads will always get divided into one BLUE and one RED team. For the very first of the maneuver threads, we'll start with one member each team only, just to keep things small and orderly for now. My own character will play some kind of a neutral, observants role within these threads.
For the first of the threads, both teams will get provided with one DP- machine- gunner and one Soviet Veteran.
Additionally, the Red, attacking team will get 15 Conscripts.
The blue team, trying to defend the flag, will get 10 Conscripts.
Red Army First Maneuver- Map
Basically a snow- covered area with a small street crossing in the middle. The swung, black lines use to represent small ridges, about 1 and a half meter high, with the lower sides indicated by the smaller lines shooting off. So basically, we have a hollow way here. The flag indicates ... a flag , which will be the target of the attacking force.
So, if you should feel interested in showing off your skillz, please sign up for the first maneuver thread right here and don't forget to mention, which side you would prefer to play. Also, we'll need a mod for the first thread, so if volunteers would step forward please?
