This rule has been enforced for a while, but hasn't been inscribed into writing properly into the rulebooks; just been expected by members to understand in general due to the recent nationality update. This thread is just clarifying those rules in words properly to document into the rules legitimately.
The following rules are as follows:
[/b][/center]
Weaponry, NPC Units & Vehicles:
[/b] You may only purchase weaponry, units and any vehicles (including aviation units/aircrafts) by your corresponding nationality.
Therefore, for example: - American nationality -> American NPC units -> American vehicles.
The following is not accepted: - American nationality -> Russian NPC units -> Commonwealth vehicles.
You must purchase weaponry, vehicles and NPC units in connection to your character nationality. Please remember this!
[/li][li] Divisional Nationality:[/b] You may also only join a division matching your nationality. Those who were mis-matching before the update, will be allowed to remain in the differing divisions, but should they leave, must re-join a division according to their nationality.
So for instance: American nationality -> American division.
Not: American nationality -> Russian division. [/li][/ul]
I hope this rule is understood and obeyed accordingly to keep realism on the website. If you are caught disobeying any of these rules, you will be given a second chance to amend yourself. So please bare this in mind! ~Danny

Quick question. Jan Nordmann is German-Norwegian, but does that mean he has to join/create a Norwegian Division?
In the German Army most all Norwegian volunteers served independently in various units, and much like those in the Kriegsmarine, an accurate total will likely never be known. Most likely between 1-5,000 Norwegians served in various German Heer units. An interesting and unique national unit actually formed by the German Heer was the Wachdienst Norwegen, formed in 1942 as an auxiliary guard unit of older Norwegian men. Its history is very obscure, and its combat value obviously very insignificant, but the fact that is was formed at all is interesting enough. Other than the Wachdienst Norwegen, no other national units consisting of Norwegian Volunteers was formed by the German Heer.
Could I still, for instance, create the Großdeutschland Division with Jan? Or would I have to change his Nationality?
