Cathol is originally from Ireland but when he was sixteen he move to the United States of America. He had a great childhood that was filled with many different ways of excitement. He always loved to go out and play baseball or football with his friends in the neighborhood. Sports would always make him happy and comfort him. He was always afraid of spiders for some reason. People that would be around him would always have a good time though. Cathol is one of the funniest people that someone would be around but he still could be serious at times. When it was time to go and fight he was always serious and fierce in battle. That’s how he was given his name as his father was a pilot of a glider in the First World War. Cathol's parents always wanted him to be a fierce pilot just like his father. Cathol always wanted to be a pilot that in fact one time he climbed up a tree and jumped off trying to act like he was flying. Let’s just say it didn’t turn out very good. In his high school years Cathol played many sports and succeed in many different things along with his school work. Then he had gotten a job during the great depression. It was a hard time for his family so he found a job repairing planes and cars of that sort. It wasn’t a few years after that that the war started. Cathol immediately joined the royal air force. He started off with a desk job that he had also repaired planes and that sort. It was only when the air forces top men had heard about his experience with flying. It was then that they had started to fly some planes. Ever since then Cathol Ackermen had began to be a fierce fighter.

Cathol and his wing man mike were flying low above German territory in the desert of North Africa. It was hot and it seemed that it would never get any bit colder. There was never any breeze and it was beginning to make Cathol sweat. He looked over at his wing man mike and then too his fuel gauge. It was beginning to get to half way. Mike must have been thinking the same thing because he was looking back and worth from the air to his fuel gauge. What was running through his mind, thought Cathol as he kept flying through the air. He was interrupted in thinking as he heard mike said to him "hey lets start flying back, Cathol".
Cathol began to think about what to do and also the situation he was in. it was hot, dry, and worst of all the sand was so thick he couldn’t see ten yards in front of him. Cathol could just barely see his wing man mike. "Ok hang on im going down to take a look mike."
Cathol knew that he had to find something good to tell the crew back at the flight base before he got back with mike. "All right im coming too." replied mike to Cathol as they both made the hawk like swoop down towards the ground. It was then that Cathol noticed something. It was some type of movement on the ground. What it was, Cathol thought to he "shit 88's!!" mike yelled out to Cathol as Mike flew straight up towards the clouds of dust again.
"Damn it mike you were right we should have left!!" Cathol yelled back. It was then that mikes plane stalled out and began to drop. Shit, Cathol thought. Those flacks 88's are going to tear him apart. Cathol saw his friend and wingman die right there, in front of him. Cathol began to fly away as his planes right wing was hit "Damn it!!!" the plane began to spin towards the right side doing a barrel roll going right to the ground. Cathol radioed his situation into the flight base. Cathol's plane was about 100 feet from the ground when he pulled up and grabbed his pistol and his backpacks handels as if it would make the impact different. The plane hit the ground sending the pieces all over the place. This wasn’t gunna be good....
