Name: Annabella Auerbach
Nationality: German
Character History:
On the starry night of August 16th, 1929, Anna (Annabella) Auerbach was born to two German Jewish citizens called Adam Auerbach and Adele Auerbach. The baby was the first born child of the couple. Both Adam and Adele loved their first-born child very much. They cherished her soul and never said the word ‘no’ to her. Adam was hoping for a boy, however, his hopes twisted and embraced him with a beautiful young baby girl. Adele admired the fact of giving birth to a girl since she dreamed of giving birth to one, even though she wouldn’t take on the family name.
Years passed on and Anna began to grow older and wiser. At the age of seven, her mother gave birth to a second child. Anna thought of this a new opportunity. She had always dreamed of having a younger brother and sister since the children at her school had younger and older siblings. She had grown jealous of them. The second child was a girl, too. Anna's parents named the second child Aurore, after Anna's grandmother. Aurore was a blessing to both her parents. Everybody thought she was a beautiful child. This made Anna grow quite envious of her younger sibling.
The years went by and Anna grew used to Aurore, yet more envious. Anna had not gotten a perfect and proper education, although, she did learn to read and write and that was all she had needed to survive in Germany those days. Anna spent most of her childhood in an apartment building in Berlin. Her family lived on top of her Uncle Frank's home. Uncle Frank was always Anna's most favorite uncle. He made the best jokes of all and he used to tell her stories about his past life. He used to tell her about the family's heritage in depth. They were both very close, however, her father used to think that Uncle Frank was influencing her too much.
Anna was never really a social person. She had a few close friends. Her best friend was called Margot Edelstein. She had spent most of her childhood with the girl and both their families were good friends. Margot was very close to Anna. Anna used to tell her all her deepest and darkest secrets and Margot promised to never tell anyone. When both girls turned eighteen, Margot had to leave. It was heartbreaking for Anna. Anna grew terribly devastated. Margot had to leave to France due to Margot's father's work. After Margot had left to Paris, Anna's devastating nightmares had begun.
The Nazi socialist party had begun. It was the very beginning of her nightmare. Her parents were forced to move out of their apartment and leave to the countryside. They lived on a pastoral farm. Her father, Adam, learned how to milk cows. Her mother helped during this process. The countryside may have been much more quieter, but it was a harder life. Then it happened. It happened quite quickly in Anna's eyes. The Nazis had found out that there was a Jewish family living, or really, hiding, on the countryside of Berlin. They had come to search. Nobody was in the small house. They were hiding in the barn. It was a silly place to hide since the Nazis had found them quite quickly. Luckily, Annabella had ran out of the barn behind the smoke. Sadly, her parents were shot by the Nazis, however, she saw her sister run off the opposite way she was running, but Anna reckoned the Nazis shot her down as well. Anna was around her early twenties then. One Nazi had seen her run off. In Anna's memory, the Nazi was slightly younger than she was. He knew what she was and she could not do anything about it. She was a Jew.
She left to Berlin. It took her two weeks to reach the city. Those two weeks were terribly rough on her. The transportation was horrid. When she reached Berlin, she found her Uncle Frank. He was a counterfeiter. She asked her Uncle Frank to counterfeit her papers to hide her real identity. He had changed her religion to catholic, although she was really Jewish on the inside. A few months later, her Uncle Frank was accidentally shot down. It was a devastating event for her. She had lost her last known family member.
Even though she had lost her Uncle Frank, she continued living life in Berlin. Well, she tried. She was hired as a secretary. She didn't receive a tremendously wealthy income, but she did receive a little bit better than others. Her income paid most of her life expenses and she rented an apartment in the city. Young Annabella may have not been in a proper school, yet she spoke French along with German quite fluently. Her Uncle Frank had taught her a bit of French. He said he had learned it when he was living in Austria.

(So Dieter informed me that the scenario is just for the new people who don't exactly know what to write about, so I thought I'd write my own sample if that's okay with you? If it isn't, I'll change
The young Annabella sat in her room, running her slim fingers through her hair. She was trying her best not to cause any teardrops to fall. Her eyes were stinging. A lump had formed in her throat. Her life wasn't perfect anymore. It was a few years back, but now, it just wasn't. She just stared at the picture, standing straight up on her oak built desk. It was her and her Uncle Frank, both linking arms, laughing at the camera. It was just so real and fantastic back then. She couldn't imagine what it felt like to be happy anymore. She still smiled, yet her smiles were usually fake ones.
Rrrrinnngg, rrriinnggg. The telephone was ringing. She quickly jumped back into reality staring at the wall in front of her. rrriinnng riiingggg, the phone still rang, awaiting Fraulein Auerbach's attention. She gazed at the telephone. She quickly picked it up, bringing it to her ear. "J-Ja?" she muttered, softly. "Hallo, Fräulein Auerbach? Wir bedauern, Sie zu informieren, dass Sie nicht gezahlt haben, sind Sie Rechnungen noch, und sie waren in vor etwa einem Tag erwartet. Bezahlen Sie ihnen bitte so schnell wie möglich, bevor wir Ihr Wasser und Elektrizität abschneiden." the woman's voice was firm. Anna wasn't surprised. She had been expecting this phone call. "Ja, sicher. Sie werden durch morgen früh bezahlt." she muttered, slightly depressingly. A few seconds later, she heard the beep, beep, beep. The woman had closed. She put down the phone and gazed out the window for a few minutes. [Translations: [1] Hello, Miss Auerbach? We regret to inform you that you have not paid you're bills yet, and they were due in approximately one day ago. Please pay them as quick as possible before we cut off your water and electricity. [2] Yes, certainly. They will be paid by tomorrow morning.]
She blinked, clearing her throat. She decided to make herself a bit more useful. She pushed herself off of the swirly chair and walked over to her dresser. A mirror stood over the dresser. She picked up the brush and began brushing her brown locks. She had inherited these dashing locks from her mother. She put down the brush and gazed at herself through the mirror. She was growing thinner. She didn't like this, though. Was she not slim enough? She sighed, walking over to her door and pulling it open. She heard the thunder. Then the lightning. It began to rain. She heard the rain pounding harshly outside her window. Was there never a ever a non-rainy evening in Berlin?
She picked up the newspaper lying upon the table in the living room. It had Adolf Hitler on it. She gazed at it for a bit. She put it back down. Well, all he was doing was ruining the country. That's what she thought. Although, young Annabella wouldn't dare say that out loud or she would surely get shot for such 'foolish' words. She walked over toward the window, where the rain still hit the streets of Berlin like waterfalls. It was then, she noticed, that her clothes were hanging on the strings. Oh, how could she have forgotten? Silly woman. She quickly opened the living room's window and began grabbing hold off all her damp clothes and setting them in a basket lying near the window. She gazed back out of the window. Berlin never looked so dark that evening.
