First, Messer: You signed up in the hostile character area but as Gestapo and were issued the neutral kit, so I'm going to say yes, you will need to purchase the packback as you are not an soldier/infantryman like the rest of the participating characters.

Second: So, I'm assuming this will be Kreigstahl, Messer, Rentz vs Strange, Risto? I'm a little wary of uneven player numbers and of battles larger than 2 v 2... so... I'm hesitant to throw my towel in the ring definitely.

In all reality it will be basically a 2 vs. 2, with two commanders on each side. However, Adam and Gustav will be given the authority of an NPC private [Adam is ranked private, Gustav would be too in the SS as a reservist] and will not be allowed to command men. They will bring a little bit more spice into the battle.

Hmm. I'll accept that. I don't know what units Risto/Raf has at his disposal but I can throw in at least 10 privates, a corporal and an MG team.

Just read through this thread; grown since I've been away.

If I'm entering as Niklas, then at the moment, I only have three corporals to spare under my command. If this battle won't start until another few weeks time or whatever, oh expect me to have plenty of manpower by then - if needed.

I'm not fond of threads expanding more than three players really, so the fact this thread is going to have five people in it: Myself, Heiko, Adam, Gust' and Dietrich -- things are going to get VERY slow and a posting order needs to be sorted out immediately. Along with an inactive timer. So we don't get stuck in this thread for months......... Please!!! Welcome to my world.

Otherwise I'm game. Let me know when you put up some offical unit numbers, so I can start planning with 'Strange/Heiko' and Adam on who's "bringing what" to this battle.

Well, I'm still interested in taking part of this, but I'm not sure how a battle with that many individual players would work. I would be able to bring in some manpower for the Axis, pretty much just privates and corporals depending on when this battle gets going and if I have the time to buy more if needed.

But I'd like to hear other people's opinions on if this battle will have too many participants, since at least Raf expressed his concern over this many people in one fight. I guess that if we go with what Gerry suggested about the posting, we might keep this thing going effectively enough, though. So yeah, the point of this post being; I'm still interested, but if it seems that there are too many participants already, I'll look for another battle.

Units are sorted, do we have a rough date when this would start? All I read earlier, was "a few weeks time", assuming six members reframe from battle for a few weeks time, do you think we should set an approx' date this would start?

Are we even still having six members in this one thread by the way?

me and Gerry were going to start this one up after that was over(well thats what he told me yesterday) So i guess thats why were trying to hurry and get that battle over with so we can start this on
